Woman Uses Fitbit During Sex: Here Are The Results

A woman wore her Fitbit Charge HR during sex and posted the results on Imgur, where the not-so-graphic, graphic has been viewed more than 1.1 million times as of midday on Tuesday.

Her heart-rate peaked (123 beats per minute) at the time that one might expect.

Her average BPM was 109 for the approximately eight minute “fat burn” exercise.

This makes me very interested in getting a fitbit like device. But I would want one that was a smartwatch too. I found this fascinating.

Gov. John Hickenlooper on Tuesday drank a hearty gulp of the Animas River in an effort to highlight that the river has returned to pre-contamination conditions. The governor and his health department director, however, cautioned that residents should not be freely drinking from the river, because the water was unsafe for consumption even before the Environmental Protection Agency released an estimated 3 million gallons of mining wastewater into it.

But the drinking exercise indicated that state officials are more than confident that the river does not pose a toxic risk to humans, as they publicly stated on Tuesday.

“Am I willing to go out there and demonstrate that we’re back to normal?” Hickenlooper asked out loud after The Durango Herald raised the idea with the governor. “Certainly. I’m happy to do that. I’m dead serious.”

Another day, another argument that a flag must come down. Today’s target is a bit surprising — the POW/MIA flag that flies from government buildings, honoring the hundreds of Americans still missing and unaccounted for in Vietnam. Writing in the pages of Newsweek, a very angry Rick Perlstein is simply not having it, declaring, “That damned flag: It’s a shroud. It smothers the complexity, the reality, of what really happened in Vietnam.” In fact, he claims the entire emphasis on American missing and POW’s was nothing but a political trick designed to detract from alleged American deceptions and war crimes.

It’s not common to see a leftist still carrying the torch for the Viet Cong and the NVA, but it’s a useful reminder of the rage that beats within some leftist hearts, a rage that can even take a symbol meant to honor and remind Americans of the undeniable fact that there are — in fact — men who are missing in Vietnam, men we can’t account for an may never be found, and turn it into a symbol of — you guessed it — racism. Never mind that Americans were dying to defend people of the exact same race as the enemies they fought. Never mind that families fly the flag to remind their neighbors of their sacrifice, and our nation flies it to remind citizens of the men of courage who fought a deadly Communist enemy. It’s not a battle flag, nor is it a flag of conquest. It’s a flag of remembrance.

Are we ever going to get past this nonsense? I heard a talk show host yesterday proposing that the term “Democrat” needs to be abandoned because of the democrats long history of racism. Yeah, it’s as stupid as it sounds…or is it?. Can’t these people find something better to do with their lives?

I hope he’s serious but I can’t help to think that anyone who knows me is automatically disqualified as being a serious candidate. But he is in the news. Larry is famous for quite a few things including Creative Commons, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and various clean money campaigns. Here’s a link to a Washington Post article about it. I would definitely vote for Larry if I get the chance to.

Another think about Larry Lessig. In 2008 he was the only person I ever met who knew who Obama was before 2004.

Melissa Gilbert Little House on the Prairie running for Congress

The actress perhaps best known for her role as Laura Ingalls Wilder on the TV series “Little House on the Prairie” is taking a run at Congress.

Melissa Gilbert announced Monday her candidacy to represent Michigan’s 8th congressional district as a Democrat, the seat currently held by Republican Mike Bishop.

Bishop was first elected in 2014 and will be running as the incumbent in 2016.

Michigan’s 8th district includes the state capital, Lansing, and Oakland, Ingham and Livingston counties, where Gilbert and her husband live.

Hardaway and Richardson appeared on The Hard Line on Newsmax TV earlier this week after they produced another pro-Trump video. Host Ed Berliner asked the duo how they fell out of line with the traditional black female supporters of the Democratic Party and Hardaway said, “Well, listen, we have our own minds and we can no longer be spoon-fed. EPA Inadvertently Releases Toxic Spill into Southwest Colorado, New Mexico and Beyond

SILVERTON — Three days after EPA workers triggered a huge blowout at a festering mine in southwestern Colorado, a mustard-colored plume — still fed by 548 gallons leaking per minute — stretched more than 100 miles, spreading contaminants including cadmium, arsenic, copper, lead and zinc.

Environmental Protection Agency regional chief Shaun McGrath on Saturday conceded that federal officials know the levels of the heavy metals in Cement Creek and the Animas River but would not reveal early testing results. “Those data sheets have not been finalized by the scientists,” McGrath said. “As soon as we are able to release them, we will.”
Potentially toxic contaminants had spread as far as a domestic well 60 miles away near Durango, which La Plata County officials said has prompted them to launch a well-testing operation for hundreds of residents. City water and irrigation intake gates were being shut in New Mexico and Navajo Country as the plume, moving at about 5 miles per hour, flowed from the Animas into the San Juan River.

A lawmaker in Huntington Park, California, has prompted outrage in the community after tapping two illegal immigrants to serve as commissioners on city advisory boards.

CBS Los Angeles reported that first-year City Councilman Jhonny Pineda, himself a documented immigrant to the United States, has appointed Francisco Medina to join the city’s health and education commission and Julian Zatarain to sit on the parks and recreation commission. The move makes Huntington Park the first city in the state to appoint illegal immigrants to city commissions.

Pineda, who promised when running for his seat to create more opportunities for illegals, championed the city as one of “opportunity” and “hope.” The appointments were announced at a city council meeting Monday night, after which residents expressed outrage at the decision. “You only want to appoint these specific individuals, only two, because they’re your personal friends that worked on your campaign,” one individual said of Pineda. “Shame on you.”

Clinton Email had no security

Reading various articles where the FBI is probing to see if Hillary Clinton’s email was secure. It is definitely not secure. What blows my mind is that it’s not immediately obvious it is not.

Clinton uses MxLogic as a spam filtering service. Anyone can see this buy doing a simple lookup on her MX record.

All her email went through this spam filtering service where any employee who had access to the filtering system could read all her emails. I’m in the same business (yes – I’m jealous) and I could read any email that passes through my system if I wanted to. (But I’m still trying to read all my own emails first.)

I don’t know if there was anything classified or not. But I can say that if these emails we at all sensitive then they were exposed to MxLogic employees.

Was the material classified? I have no idea. Was the email secure? The answer isn’t just no, it’s Hell No!

Los Angeles police are investigating the death of man who had enough weapons in his home and garage to arm a small militia.

Meanwhile, the man’s fiancée and a missing Oxnard woman who used to work for her supposedly believe that the man was a human-alien hybrid covertly employed by the U.S. government, according to the Oxnard woman’s mother.

The decomposing remains of Jeffrey Alan Lash were found last week in his SUV, which was parked on a street in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The body had been there for about two weeks.

Many of the 1,200 rifles, scopes, pistols and shotguns discovered in Lash’s home had never been fired, and some were still in plastic wrap and boxes, with price tags attached. Police also found 6.5 tons of ammunition, plus bows and arrows, machetes and knives.

“Our truck couldn’t carry it all,” Los Angeles Police Department Cmdr. Andrew Smith told the Los Angeles Times.

Lash apparently did not believe in banks. Also found in his home was $230,000 in cash.

He reportedly owned 14 vehicles, including a Toyota SUV designed to drive underwater.

I’ve been wondering where I could retire to some day, Florida and California are definitely off my list of possibilities.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A message about safety is now being played at the AMC Theatres. It states, “If you happen to see any suspiciously strange characters or bad agendas, report them to our crew.” “It’s a good message to send because there has been a lot of problems with movie theater shootings and stuff,” said Brittany Cavallo.

Most recently, the shooting at a movie theater in Louisiana last Thursday that killed two people and injured nine others. Now, AMC Theatres has created a video message alerting moviegoers to look out for suspicious people or bad agendas and report it immediately.

“I think AMC is doing an awesome job because we should be protecting our people when they come and they should be feeling safe,” said Regina Law.
