Its name will be “Red Dragon.” And if the latest partnership between SpaceX and NASA works out, the privately funded craft will land on Mars to collect scientific data — possibly within the next two years. The plan is to use the Dragon capsule, but without a human crew.

“SpaceX is planning to send Dragons to Mars as early as 2018,” the companysaid via Facebook Wednesday. “These missions will help demonstrate the technologies needed to land large payloads propulsively on Mars.”

A propulsive landing, we’ll remind you, is the use of powerful rockets to lower the spacecraft in a stable — and, if all goes well, reusable — position.

“You can’t land on Mars using parachutes like you would on Earth,” NPR’s Geoff Brumfiel tells us, “because the atmosphere isn’t thick enough.”

The Dragon craft is meant to carry astronauts, but SpaceX founder Elon Musk says the SUV-sized interior of the craft would make it difficult for humans to endure any trips longer than from the Earth to the moon.

Not to be outdone on the woman VP thing Trump will announce Ann Coulter as VP. Cruz has picked Carly Fiorina. And just like McCain/Palin this is another winning ticket. And unlike Carly, she promises not to sing at the announcement. Bernie might pick Warren, and Hillary is going to pick Rachel Maddow, not just a woman, but a lesbian woman.

When you listen to Obama it sounds very well reasoned except for the lack of the solution. He imagines that there can be this secret key that only the government has to open up the back door of the bad guys devices to fight crime. And if it were so then that would solve the problem.

But that’s not the way it is. The technology doesn’t know who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. So if the secret key exists then the secret key can open up anything.

I used to think America was a Democracy where the People elected the politicians and our votes counted. But that doesn’t seem to be the case in this year’s election. This year the Democrats and Republicans have rigged their primaries. And that’s neither Democratic, nor the American Way.

In a Democracy the person with the most votes wins the election. On the Republican side that person, at this point is Donald Trump. Personally I despise Trump but if he wins he wins. But what I’m hearing is that party insiders want to give the election, not to Trump, not even to Cruz, but to some unknown person that the party insiders will choose themselves. Maybe someone who hasn’t even run or has already dropped out of the race.

On the Democrat side you have a race in Wyoming where Bernie Sanders slaughters Hillary Clinton by 56 to 44. You would think that Bernie would get more delegates than Hillary, but you would be wrong. When Bernie wins he doesn’t win. Both get half. why is that? Because the Democrat Party rigged the election in favor of Hillary and made the super delegates vote last year before the primary season began. Super delegates politicians electing politicians usurping the vote of the People.

These parties make up the rules and the rules are that the vote of the People doesn’t matter. They are merely giving us the illusion of voting when the elections are rigged from the start. And I’m refusing to participate in a general election that is rigged against Sander and Trump. The people are rising up. We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore. We have had enough of presidents like Bush and Obama and we are telling the party insiders we want someone else. And we are not going to stand by and allow our elections in America to be conducted by the same rules used by the Communists and third world dictatorships.

The steering wheel setup in the Tesla Model 3 — seen above in a shot from the media event last week — is not the version that will be in the final car, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said tonight in a series of tweets.

Instead, the “real steering controls and system” for the Model 3 feel “like a spaceship.”Musk went on to say that the lack of a traditional dashboard and instrument cluster “will make sense after part 2” of the Model 3 unveiling. That’s expected to come much closer to production.

I think he’s getting rid of the steering wheel and replacing it with a joystick like device.

This is a case where you have the Global Warming Alarmist cult and the Global Warming Deniers cult fighting and both sides ignoring the math. Case in point, Neil Degrasse Tyson claims that the 864 degree temperature in the Earth’s surface is a result of Global Warming Greenhouse Effect. And it’s simply not true. And it can be proven with simple math relying on accepted reference material.
