The story here.

The biggest story in the news right now isn’t Donald Trump. The biggest story is the NSA was hacked and the “Keys to the Kingdom” were stolen. Someone managed to get hold of the NSA’s hacking tools used by their Tailored Access Operation unit. (TAO) What this means is that leterally everything that civilization depends on is now exposed.

These tools exploit flaws in the operating systems of the computers and routers that make the internet work. The NSA keeps these flaws secret rather that informing companies like CISCO and Juniper of the flaw and give them the opportunity to fix them. The NSA has put their need to spy above the security of the world. And now the unthinkable has happened. Hackers have the power of the NSA and they could bring down civilization. Think of it as Y2K on steroids.

The responsible thing for the NSA to do right now would be to immediately warn all the computer and router vendors and let them know about these flaws so that they can begin patching their systems as soon as possible. It might already be too late. I doubt however they are going to do the responsible thing. And a very scary world we will be in because of that.

In 2013 I personally confronted Nancy Pelosi at Netroots Nation in San Jose where she was booed for defending the Bush/Obama NSA spying program. At that event I warned as many people as I could that this very thing might happen. That whoever hacks the NSA has the power of the NSA. And now what I warned about has happened and they still don’t get it.

Violence and protests erupted in Milwaukee overnight after a man was fatally shot by police during a foot chase. Police said the victim, 23, was armed with a handgun and shot dead by an officer after fleeing a traffic stop on Milwaukee’s north side Saturday afternoon.

Hours later angry crowds took to the streets, smashing a police car and setting fire to another. One officer was injured by a flying brick; a gas station and auto-parts store were set alight. Police said gunshots were heard. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett pleaded for calm at an early morning news conference, asking residents to “do everything” to help restore order.

The mayor said some involved in the disturbances took to social media early in the evening to encourage others to come out and participate in trouble-making. He said many of them were young people, and he urged parents to keep tight reins on their children to avoid a repeat of Saturday night.

“Our police officers are doing everything they can to restore order,” he said. But he said everyone needed to help restore calm.

“If you love your son, if you love your daughter, text them, call them, pull them by their ears, get them home.”

The mayor said police had “shown an amazing amount of restraint” Saturday evening.

What are the limits of copyright? For example, can you copyright a philosophy? The Bible for example existed before copyright law, but what if Jesus were invented today? He would be intellectual property.

As you can see in the above film, Star Trek isn’t just another TV show. It’s much more. Gene Roddenberry intended to make it a philosophy of the future. I can’t help to think that in the court battles between CBS/Paramount vs. Axanar Productions that the issues are far deeper than simple infringement. I’m still boycotting Start Trek Beyond because the shear stupidity of such a lawsuit is in complete contrast to the vision the Star Trek represents.

“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,” Malik Obama told The Post from his home in the rural village of Kogelo. “Make America Great Again” is a great slogan. I would like to meet him.”

Obama, 58, a longtime Democrat, said his “deep disappointment” in his brother Barack’s administration has led him to recently switch allegiance to “the party of Lincoln.”

The last straw, he said, came earlier this month when FBI Director James Comey recommended not prosecuting Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton over her use of a private e-mail servers while secretary of state.

“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information,” said Obama.

He’s also annoyed that Clinton and President Obama killed Libyan leader Moammar Khadafy, whom he called one of his best friends. “I still feel that getting rid of Khadafy didn’t make things any better in Libya,” he said. “My brother and the secretary of state disappointed me in that regard.”

But what bothers him even more is the Democratic Party’s support of same-sex marriage. “I feel like a Republican now because they don’t stand for same-sex marriage, and that appeals to me,” he said.

Obama believes strongly in the institution of marriage — so strongly that he has at least three current wives, although press reports have put the number as high as 12.

When asked by The Post how many wives and children he has, Obama demurred.

“That’s personal,” he said.

I watched Trump’s acceptance speech at the convention and his behavior since and he’s is acting like a brat. I’m talking about this ongoing feud between Trump and Cruz. In the primary it was amusing. It was refreshing to get some unfiltered opinions, no matter how weird they may be.

But the primary is over and now it’s time to pivot to the issue of “What are you going to be like as a president?” issue. So I was expecting Mr. Trump to be inspirational and adult, and I’m not seeing that. Trump is focused on this personal grudge match to get even with Ted Cruz. This is what ill behaved children do. Does it really matter if “Ted Cruz’s father hung with Lee Harvey Oswald” after the primary is over?

Donald – you won. You beat Cruz. Declare victory and move on. I have to ask the question, “Are you going to at least grow up and act like an adult?” It’s time for Trump to start acting like a president. Donald, show me your presidential side.

I’m not going to see the Star Trek Beyond movie for 2 reasons. The first reason is because of the lawsuit by CBS/Paramount against the fan film Axanar. The second reason is that this is Star Trek in name only. It’s not real Star Trek. J,J, Abrams has butchered Star Trek the way he butchered Star Wars. It uses Star Trek names and references but it’s just another sci-fi action film. I then we should all #BoycottStarTrek
