Har!
Loose lips sink ships!
Janet’s face could sink a fleet.
Ha-ha … words do matter … Classic Dishonest Hypocritical Government: “Do What I Say, Not What I Do”; excepting he did do what they said and not what they do (keep secretes and lie to Americans)!
I’ve always felt that the problem with ubiquitous surveillance would be its unequal access.
Politicians, other 1%ers and their minions among the 99%ers always feel that they and only they should have access to the data.
That is what being “Big Brother” is all about…
If the fruits of this ubiquitous surveillance, the mined data, meta or not, was made universally accessible in real-time to all, just by Googling it, it would be truly earth shaking and civilization altering.
The level of criminality, typically the planned kind as opposed to the opportunistic violent kind , would rapidly drop because people would realize that they couldn’t hope to get away with it and be forced to find some other legal way to provide value for money exchanged.
Look for prostitution and drugs to become legalized and regulated just like alcohol.
WH said nothing about treasonous acts of violating the oath to secrecy of Americas intelligence or military operations. Why do teapublicans hate our men in uniform and place them in harms way?

Fixed.
he said what they did
They now even call for arresting the journalist of the Guardian. Yeah, focus on and kill the messengers. Do not look at the problem they exposed.
I have no doubt they already compiled lots of dirt on royals, politicians and whoever. You? Me? The whole NSA database is the perfect tool for keeping everyone in line with their program. Stalin and Hitler would have been very jalous.
If you defend this mass spying system (“I have nothing to hide”) and want whistleblowers convicted, you really know shit about history. And what will hit you soon. No matter what political color you admire.
It is not what snowden says, it is he knows the passwords and codes
And how long does it take to change a password or coding?
If it takes moer than 5 minutes, then that is another reason that some very senior people should be put on the unemployment lines.
Your father has been located. Report for your beating.
“to prove he’s actually married to Micky”. Hello? Is this No Agenda or Entertainment Tonight? You get my drift….get back on track, okay?
I’m waiting to see someone question the easy and unquestioned use, or misuse, of the Classified designation. Hope I live long enough.
Like so many other things the government claims to do, or claims we should to. This obviously was a case of IYSS,SS theater. Not on Snowden’s part, but on the WH’s part. They don’t really want their own, exposing their dirty little secrets to the public’s attention. And any stated policy, that says otherwise, is strictly theater.
