Are these unemployed actors with too much time on their hands?
Seriously, Obama is like a pitcher that looked like he had good control and a strong arm. Instead, he’s thrown pitches in the dirt, can’t find home plate, and has walked way too many taxpayer dollars around the bases.
It late in the game and time for a new pitcher.
Ignorant twaddle. Obama has spent less than all the recent presidents. Republicans have been very open about their intent to sabotage the economy in hopes of getting Obama defeated. Pull your head out of your Fox News ass.
ROFLMAO. Obama has outspent Bush’s 8 years in his first two years.
Guess what is Obama new cheap school lunch program based on?

That is pretty ignorant, looks like another low info Fox News Viewer.
>Obama has spent less than all the recent presidents.
False, and his proposed budget wants to spend even more than he is already spending!
What is this budget you speak of?
Any of them, by law he has to send a budget to Congress every year, It’s his job, however nobody ever voted for one of Obama’s budgets so far as I can tell. Harry Reid stopped even having them voted on last year. The Repubs forced a vote on it but it got no support from anyone. I know that sounds like an anti Obama joke but so help me so far as I can find out nobody from either party has ever voted for a budget proposed by Obama. I know for a fact the last two Obama budgets didn’t get a single vote.
It appears you Obama guys missed this but we no longer have a shuttle program.
Obama shut it down and outsourced it.
The only way we can now send an astronaut into space is to pay the Russians for the privilege.
The Mars probe is most likely the last major space undertaking the United States will ever undertake. JFK started the space age in the US and Obama is closing it.
So because of Obama the russians “Ter er jobs?” Good thing that we still have Guantanamo Bay from Bush to supplement the loss of jobs.
I’m more entertained by the actual Obama commercials that are meant to imply that Romney is paying fewer taxes than the average, hard-working American because his effective tax rate was 14%… … of $21 million. $3 million is more than most Americans will see in their lifetimes.
Romney also only gave $2.6 million (13% of gross income) to charity in 2010 compared to the $245K (14% of gross income) Obama gave. A full percentage point of income lower than Obama. Quite the controversy if you ask me…
If people want to have an honest discussion of why the government feels a need to encourage private investment through offering a lower tax rate on capital gains, then have at it; but smearing Romney because most of his income, which is investment income, is taxed at a lower rate than you and me because of the current design of the tax code is childish.
I love the fact that the Democrats grew some balls and started using the old “Death Panel” type Republican commercials. It’s just nice to see the Democrats hit back using the oldest Republican trick in the book. It doesn’t matter if what they say is true or not. If you are a Republican, you should know this all too well from the “Obamacare” smear campaign. Carry on.
You are right, the “death panel” scare tactic was misleading. But not any more misleading than all of the “America has a crappy healthcare system compared to European countries” misinformation that was used to sell the program in the first place.
I’d recommend listening last week’s EconTalk podcast which discussed the very issue:
http://www.econtalk.org/archives/2012/07/scott_atlas_on.html
That was very well done! Now we will get something from the other side. I hope it is equally good.
I don’t think it will sway folks when they go to vote but it is a great mirror to our society and it’s freedom to express yourself..
right?
An uncle of mine, who obviously hates Obama, emailed me some more propaganda of the supposed Secret Service’s opinion of past presidents, VPs, and 1st Ladies. So naturally, almost every Republican was glowingly praised. And every Democrat was labeled a woman chaser, drunk or party animal. The worse that was said about Nixon, was that he was a little paranoid. And Betty Ford drank. The only negative “opinion” was I was prepared to believe, was about Albert Gore. Somehow they forgot to mention how VP Bush was really running things, not Ronald Reagan. But I guess some thing must still be kept secret.
“And every Democrat was labeled a woman chaser, drunk or party animal.”
Obviously an overstatement, but not by much.
“… a woman chaser, drunk or party animal.”
President Jimmy Carter. Really?
He sinned in his heart.
Mildly entertaining but not funny.
I like Romney jokes.
“Mitt Romney’s search for a vice president continues. As you know, one of Mitt Romney’s problems is that he’s never hired an American for a job before, so this is new.” –Jay Leno
“Mitt Romney believes that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Which is better than his grandfather, who believed that it should be between one man and five women.” -Jimmy Kimmel
“Mitt Romney tried to make a $10,000 bet with Rick Perry during a presidential debate. Well, who says the Republicans are rich snobs out of touch with the common man?” –Jay Leno
“Mitt Romney looks like a guy modeling briefs on a package of underwear … He looks like a guy who goes to the restroom when the check comes … He looks like a guy who would run a seminar on condo flipping … He looks like he is the closer at a Cadillac dealership…. He looks like that guy on the golf course in the Levitra commercial.” —David Letterman
Romney quotes:
Romney, speaking in May of 2012 about the U.S. auto industry’s comeback: ”I pushed the idea of a managed bankruptcy. And finally, when that was done, and help was given, the companies got back on their feet. So I’ll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry’s come back.”
Romney, writing in a 2008 New York Times op-ed titled ”Let Detroit Go Bankrupt”: ”If General Motors, Ford and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye.”
”I know what it’s like to worry whether you’re going to get fired. There were a couple of times I wondered whether I was going to get a pink slip.”
—Mitt Romney, attempting to identify with the problems of average folk (January 2012)
”I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love.”
—Mitt Romney (January 2012)
”I get speaker’s fees from time to time, but not very much.”
—Mitt Romney, who earned $374,000 in speaking fees in one year according to his personal financial disclosure (January 2012)
Still not as funny as the pro Romney ads.
