This past weekend they closed off Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley so the local artisans and characters could see tie-dye shirts, jewelry, pottery and the normal suff you’d find at a street fair. But because it is in Berkeley, the scene is a little more picturesque. Here are a few shots I made for you.
Here is a guy selling every known “liberal” bumper sticker. Incredible collection. Has anyone but me noticed that years ago it was the right-wingers that had all the crackpot bumper stickers. Now it’s the left-wingers. What changed?
The rasta-chick and her “Forever Loving Jah” T-shirts. I didn’t bother to ask for details.
What?!? And quit show business??
The peace chain is free, donations accepted. Right in front of the Bank of America.
Anti-Bush T-shirts in Berkeley? What a shocker.
Looks to me like the same freak show they had in the 60’s & 70’s. Only the name have been changed.
