1. boomboomboom says:

If you spend some time on this forum and any other forum I have ever been to, you find the complaint that there are no negative posts criticizing Obaman/the liberals/the left and so forth.

Interesting. That definitely says something about you and your affinity for biased sources or you are just making that shit up as a basis for your extreme bias. Either way you don’t come out smelling very fresh.

    • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Well–show me one. If there are “so many” === should be easy.

      I can’t find any.

Demonstrate your google skils, and show me the bias. Course, while I did expand on it, the basis for the statement is mostly THIS forum.

Prove me wrong. It will amuse me.

      • boomboomboom says:

You didn’t read where I quoted you did you? Come on admit it you didn’t read your own words that I quoted. You know the part where you explicitly state the bias of this forum and any other forum you have ever been to.

        • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Silly boomboom==its not a bias if its true.

Prove me wrong—or your punishement will be to substitute your services for Pedro’s Donkey for one week.

Course, you failure to do anything but dither will be express acknowledgment that what I post is true: The Puke are Retards.

          And who can deny that?

          • boomboomboom says:

You poor thing. You explicitly admit that you only visit forums that exhibit the bias in question. Your admission reveals a lot about YOU.

That’s of course assuming you are telling the truth. There is the possibility that you are lying which would also reveal a lot about YOU.

Either way doesn’t really make YOU look good.

  2. bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

A quick review of what any of us understand already. Does help to see it in print on occasion. I’ll say, I take all 6 categories. No opinion though on where on the maturity curve this forum is. Does seem a bit less robust than a few years ago, but perhaps that only describes me?

That’s Eric Holder giving the ticket isn’t?

      • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Yak–you’re back on the cartoon and not my link? Took me a few beers to make that connection.

Holder? Actually doing something? Nah==thats not holder.

  3. Tim says:

Sorry, man. No time for the old *in-out*; I’m just here to calibrate the meter.

You poor thing. /// Nice elevation by context. Can you pull it off?

You explicitly admit that you only visit forums that exhibit the bias in question. /// “I do not think that word means what you think it does.” I explicitly said “If you spend some time on this forum and any other forum I have ever been to….” so==not explicitly what you spin the words to say, to alter what is being addressed. Explicit is a powerful word because its definition is quite ….. well…..quite explicit. It means a very specific thing and when shown not to be accurate then either you don’t understand the word, or you are lying rather than accept you have your facts wrong. Why would you do that?

Amusingly, within your all too thin attempt to spin out of a very simply truth, you do admit to half the proposition. You admit that “this” forum demonstrates the quality of posting I commented on: Retards complain about not criticizing Obama when a valid negative post is made about the Pukes. No similar activity takes place though when a negative post is made about Obama. What you could have pointed out, and I was expecting it, was a comment that “Republicans do it too.” Very close, but not the subject of my comment. But as this discussion reflects which is only consistent with my comment: you don’t have the smarts to do it.

Yes, the GOP, the Party of Failed Policies, and their hackneyed band of spinmeisters, shills, dupes and fools in close retinue. You would be so easy to ignore if only you didn’t vote against your own interests time after time. “Values Voters” is one issue, but THOSE VALUES!!!!! Oh, the Horror!

Your admission reveals a lot about YOU. /// Your push to make my recognition an admission has failed, thereby revealing a lot about BOTH of us. And the elevation you attempted at the start of this post has been reversed. Poor boomboom goes boo boo.

That’s of course assuming you are telling the truth. /// Well that is the issue. I make an observation and ask for any opposing examples so as to correct myself as reality may indicate, and what we all get back is your duplicity and spin. You have one demonstrated attempt at manipulation on the record. I am still open to having my observation corrected.

There is the possibility that you are lying which would also reveal a lot about YOU. /// Possible? Of course its possible. The analysis calls for facts to resolve, or is your position entirely bases on raw assumption otherwise with no facts at all?

Either way doesn’t really make YOU look good. //// At this elevation, I can see for miles.

Well==enough silliness. Such transparent manipulation isn’t worth responding to, but I had a few minutes and no new thread to review.

So much in the world right now. That Kony guy. Limbaugh losing all adverts. Army of One killing innocents in the dark of night. Israel taking 100 plus missiles per day from Gaza. Greenland Ice Sheet melting twice as fast as IPCC Model predicted. Nothing but Vampires on tv and comic book Heroes at the movies.

Might be time to set up my hammock and renew my magazine subscriptions. All still in print. Thats a good thing.

  6. Anonymous says:

This is getting too hilarious to even read any more. Bobo – the emotional dyslexic mental patient and off his meds whose name is correctly pronounced “BOOB”, seems to think everything is a “left” versus “right” struggle. He/she/it (Boob, Bobo, or whatever) and many of you don’t seem to realize this original topic was about a JOKE! For crying out loud – it’s a cartoon! It’s obviously meant to poke fun at idiots in power who continue to come up with new laws, policies, rules that are totally insane. What’s sad is that public apathy seems to be why these powerful idiots get away with it.

Watch it again. I saw nowhere any mention of left, right, democrat, republican, or any affiliation other than maybe law enforcement! Any left/right political crap was interpreted by certain fools posting comments – none of it was in the cartoon!

I mean, can anyone READ the title? Just in case you can’t, it says:

South Park Takes a Poke at Nanny State Douchery

So get a grip people. (I already know “Boob” won’t.)

  7. bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Well Anonymous–if we all take your counsel and just take the cartoon at its face value, then it is what it is: a cartoon.

YOU CHOOSE to take it one step farther into a representation of the excess of authority, poking fun at idiots in power making up new rules.

Ok. Once that first level of extrapolation is explored and appreciated, what then? Not much discussion when we all agree it would be stupid to require seat belts on toilets. Must the discussion stop there at your appreciation of the cartoon or is there any other issue the cartoon fairly brings up?

And that was covered. No need to do so again unless you really are stuck at the cartoon level.

So—seat belts on toilets is not a good policy.

    Very deep.

  8. McCullough says:

How about a different direction…Randy says “I’m not going to fall in…I’m not a chick!”

Obviously it’s a slam on women, thus it HAS to be CONSERVATIVE PUKATIVE DOUCHERY!!!!!

Unless it’s Bill Maher speaking, then it HAS to be LOONEY LIBERAL MISOGYNIST DOUCHERY!!!!

    Har!

    • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Thats another good one. I did notice it but chose to discuss what I noticed.

Would chicks even more likely fall in than a man? As they complain about having to put the seat down, maybe operating the seat belt mechanism is beyond them as well?

Ha, ha. so many issues. So little time.

Say McCullough: how come you never post an anti-male cartoon from South Park? What are you—Biased???????

      ♫….Rimshot!!…♫.

      • McCullough says:

“Would chicks even more likely fall in than a man?”

That depends on how FAT the chick is!

        ♫….Rimshot!!…♫.

You will have to watch the SP premier on Wednesday night. Strong Hint: Yes a chick falls in the toilet.

        • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

          All this insider information?

What are you McCullough- – – a culture God?

  9. Glenn E. says:

For some reason, syndications of South Park never went beyond season 10. And the syndication was canceled a few years ago. I’ve not seen any repeats in years. And nothing on DVD, since our library system won’t spring for them. So I suspect that there’s a lot of anti-Republican stuff in season 11 and on. Or the series wouldn’t have become such a bane to American society.

    • bobbo, oh, the Horror says:

Comcast here in USA is constantly showing “all” the SP episodes as far as I can tell. Same with Simpsons.

Sad when cartoons are some of the very best tv has to offer? Or not. Content is content.

    • The Fence says:

What planet do you live on…I see old SP reruns all the time. On Comedy Central.

      Netflix carries all the episodes.

  10. Glenn E. says:

Speaking to Tv shows. There’s a series on Showtime (I believe) called “Penn & Teller Bullsh*t” (replace the “*” with “i”). And it’s been on for eight seasons now. I’ve only recently discovered a few episodes online, and I’m told there are DVDs. But obviously P&T’s unfortunate choice of a title, and “adult language” throughout, will keep the DVDs off most public library shelves. Perhaps that’s be design. Anyway, they take a no-holds-barred look at a lot of things, from NewAge medicine, and astrology, to Polygraphs, much more. Great! I’d love to see the whole series. And if not for the bad language (again, a coincidence) if would be great for the high school class rooms. Bu that’s never gonna happen.

And one thing I can be absolutely 100% sure they’ll never label as “Bullsh*t” is the American political system, and how the US government runs. Because obviously there are certain sacred cows you just don’t mess with. I’m been surprised by how far Showtime productions have come close to the edge. But they’ll NEVER cross the line, set for them by larger forces.
