Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy hit back at Fox News during a UK press conference following the London Premiere of their new film. Fox had publically criticized the film for supposedly pushing a ‘dangerous liberal agenda’ at kids.

Fox News says a lot of stupid shit. Only idiots pay attention.
The Muppet press conference was very impressive and I warn Fox not to spend 10’s of millions on Muppet personal attack ads.
Say, let’s combine both parties and call them Retardocraticans!
Seriously, I’m PRAYING for the Giant Asteroid — which is, let’s face it, the ONLY way that ANYTHING as screwed up as America is going to get straightened out.
Fox is full of $%it, but they are right about this, and I have always liked the Muppets.
Cable beats Broadcast
Fox for the Win!

Yeah but the POINT of the interview is still being lost: the propaganda is to even call in Fox “NEWS.” Its not. Just feed for the sheeple. Proof here: http://goo.gl/iNT2s
Fox news: fairy tales for people with no sense of humor.
The Muppets: furry tales for people with a sense of humor.
All in all, I’m gonna trust the Muppets more than Fox.
Hah! Yes…..both are jokes told for the amusement of less than fully formed minds and the totally uniformed.
I do enjoy the stupidity of those who think that higher viewership is the mark of some kind of legitimacy. Another joke for those who do know shit from shinola.
Know what I mean JB? Ha, ha. What a dolt.
The Fascist News Network reminds me of the Teletubbie controversy a few years back when televangelist Jerry Falwell accused Tinky Winky of being a homosexual role model for children.
Now the Muppets are being assaulted by the far right goons.
Three cheers for Miss Piggy. You go, girl.
Yes, but then again…

Fox News on Tuesday marked its tenth consecutive year as the No. 1 rated cable news network. Nielsen data shows that Fox News averaged 1.9 million primetime viewers this January, up 78 percent from January 2002 when the network first laid claim to the top-rated news network crown with an average of just over 1 million viewers per night in primetime.
Heh, heh.
The Muppets movie achieved a rating of 8.0 on the IMBd web site.
Heh, heh.
“Fox News viewers are less informed than people who don’t watch any news” /// AND….they are likewise dumb enough to be proud of it.
“More Fox News viewers will watch monkeys shit than people who graduated from grammar school…” //// AND they are likewise dumb enough to be proud of it.
“More Fox News viewers continue to want the government out of their Medicare Benefits…” …. AND they are likewise dumb enough to rally and vote for those promising this result.
Its all true. There are that many dumb people in America. Enough to keep Fox News, the Republican Party, the KKK, Nascar, and the NRA in business. AND they are dumb enough to be proud of it.

But there is soooo much better to watch. Current TV with Mr. Olbermann is a delight. Add Eliot Spitzer to the mix and who could ask for anything more?
Tired of the tube? The posh accents of NPR will soon convince you that a person of your intelligence deserves the best.
Now don’t you feel better about how smart you are?
Still not convinced? Your fellow Dimocrats and moonbats will have you thinking right (no pun intended) in a second.
Next Lie==”But there is soooo much better to watch. Current TV with Mr. Olbermann is a delight. Add Eliot Spitzer to the mix and who could ask for anything more?” //// I assume you are paraphrasing a post of mine as I paraphrased JB?
Well played—and how right you are/I am for recognizing the difference between “a point of view” and outright manipulated propaganda.
You do recognize that difference? I doubt JB does but you are closer to Olbermann than Rushbarf and Slanthead in these political matters.
Still, from time to time it is important to note when the point of view of Olberman, Current TV, msnbc, commentators slop over from point of view to bias to outright propaganda. Yes===it does happen, just not a constant diet of such crap as with Faux Spews.
Put it down to any one thing having commonalities with any other thing======but differences as well. The flock of throat cutting sheep supporting Faux Spews and the Republican Party appear to be fully sated with only half of the equation, and in doing so, they are but rabble. Not worth much.
Shitload of stupid people in this world.
By that criteria I should be watching Jersey Shore and Khardashins every night.
Yes, there is plenty to laugh at.
It is regularly beat by “Pawn Stars” and “Jersey Shore”.
This is a publicity stunt.
Disney was concerned about their risky investment in the movie so they called up Rupert Murdoch and offered him a few shares to create a bogus controversy in the newstainmnent media and the strategy worked.
What reasonable person would actually be concerned about the political bias of a sock puppet?
What reasonable person would not realize that Hollywood has utilized greedy Texas oilmen as bad guys for the last century?
This is obviously bogus.
As apt as the ‘press conference’ may have been at turning the bias question around, I still cannot watch muppets with wrong sounding voices.
Hmm, let’s see – Family Guy, American Dad and a host of other liberally biased cartoons done by FOX Entertainment, and FOX news picks on the Muppets. I think I’ll just keep ignoring FOX completely. I’d rather be liberal than sick and conflicted.
Kermit for President!
Since when was a talk show (or for that matter, a blog) ever considered a source of “news“?
I can see the confusion since nearly all formats on Fox and elsewhere feature some kind of talking head (a.k.a. “anchor person”) reading what sounds like news. I can even see the problem when Fox calls their network “Fox News” too. But really. Doesn’t anyone pay attention to the programming?!
I mean, you might see maybe 30 minutes of any actual “news” on any given network. And Fox is really no different when you get right down to it. But I do see the confusion when there are other shows like Good Morning America or that most putrid of all shows – The Today Show – which seem to have news “breaks.”
So could part of the hostility against Fox be due to the fact that the other brain dead networks have simply failed to figure out how to pander to the ignorant masses? With possible exception of CBS News, they all suck! In fact, I’m a little surprised that they all haven’t degraded to broadcasting in clown suits and titty tassels by now. But if they ever do go that way, you can bet Fox will be first!
(And you just know someone has probably seriously considered replacing their news anchor with a cartoon!)
Tempest in a teapot.
I’m always glad to see Kermit and company on the news — it means at least there’s probably no imminent global catastrophe happening…
You that FOX news is a force to be reckoned with when their mortal enemy is a green frog puppet.
