  1. Lorax3 says:

Thats Great! TWiT should get a great audience boost from TIME Magazine.

  2. Reality says:

I thought John was also a TWiT. Be happy for your friends.

  3. tallwookie says:

    woot twit

  4. bill says:

    TWiT? Time Magazine?
#1 was: THIS AMERICAN LIFE (Features)
This public radio classic created by Ira Glass jumps seamlessly from your radio to your mp3 player. The TAL people describe it as “a documentary show for people who normally hate documentaries.” The length makes it good listening for long commutes.

    LONG COMMUTES??? try VAN HALEN!!!!
What is with Time Magazine? My wife reads Time Magazine….
    I wouldn’t worry about this one…

  5. Esteban says:

    Congratulations!

“YOU” are the podcast of the year. 😉

  6. John it because of Leo’s hair nothing more!!

Anyway congrats to both of you for excellent podcasts.

    Cheers

  7. sdf says:

Look at the other ranked podcasts. John of all people understands the BS dynamic that goes into these lists. And I’m not saying TWiT is being underestimated nor overestimated in this case.

  8. Tim Harris says:

How much did you guys have to pay the Times for that to happen ?

  9. Abram Cove says:

Wow. An arbitrary list of top ten podcasts.

You might as well just ask the guy in the next cube what he listens to.

  10. mxpwr03 says:

Congratulations to TwiT and the TwiT Army who made this possible. I’m looking forward to another year of in depth tech coverage, Leo’s singing, and hopefully Steve Gibson will be more successful in baiting the bear.

  11. Bob says:

I think this may be a response by Time to the ridicule heaped on them in a recent TwiT episode over their choice of person of the year. Dvorak in particular accused them of mindless group think (I am paraphrasing here). Let’s see if the TwiT’s tune changes, now they are being “honored” by Time!
