“What a person thinks, he creates. Occult law states that energy follows thought. Therefore, collective belief in wrong prophecy by millions of people can cause an immense unconscious level of negative feelings that can lead to fulfilling prophecy.”

I agree that conventional religion’s not as enticing or fun compared to the wide scope of belief or non belief systems. Deism is my favorite at the moment. I love the freaky two headed ring he wears. I read he’s a Glycon believer.

And of course he’s got a book coming out.

He looks a little like Charlie Manson but makes some good points.I especially like the imaginary friends comment. You know we have 4 GOP presidential candidates that claim to have talked to god and that he told them he wants them to be president! The end of the world is not coming but the end of the human race is possible with such leadership.

Do your research and then come back here.

The man (who was born in the same month and year as I was, 🙂 ) is the god of the British graphic novel.

He and William Gibson occupy identical pedestals in the pantheon of literature.

The man is a literary genius. Big fan.

He doesn’t seem to have lost his eloquence. I’d have thought he’d have lost his rag at the way V for Vendetta was treated in the cinema.

Yeah, he looks kinda freakish (like me!) and he rains on the parade of the passive suicidal Bring-On-The-End-Of-The-World-So-I-Don’t-Have-To-Off-Myself crowd, but it’s gonna be like he says, a big mental shift that most people won’t be able to endure losing a system that has been telling them what they want to hear

  17. memesis says:

I love his stories and this interview was just fantastic. In my opinion he is probably the only person (possibly Dave Sims as well) to do anything relevant on a large scale in comics.
