Obama is a wonderfully eloquent speaker. He had big ideas. Like Bush in Iraq, Obama didn’t really have any kind of plan of what to do after “Mission Accomplished”, in the case of Obama this was becoming president.
And it shows.
Obama has a general disinterest in the duties of being president and prefers to “live it up” and travel, make big visionary speeches and throw parties.
The electoral process worked, McCain’s incompetence makes Obama look like a saint. We really did get the “better presidential candidate”.
Maybe there is something about our system which prevents “good candidates” from making strong showings in primaries. Dems: Obama, Hillary and criminal John Edwards. Repubs: McCain, Huckleberry, etc. Why do all the choices have to be losers, religious zealots, power hungry or ethically-impaired cheating lawyers?

Yeah…the only way the Obama one could be racist is if blacks were historically treated and considered to be akin to animals, and were then put into the institution of slavery for hundreds of years at the hands of white people. But something like that could never happen in America.
Black people enslaved their OWN people too. You should study the history of Africa. And there were Africans that even took part in human sacrifice rituals. It was indeed wrong for white people to enslave them but that doesnt mean black people didnt enslave and torture people of their own color too. Just look up African history. You will be suprised by all that you find. The bottom line is no race is perfect and skin color means squat. It all boils down to a human being’s personality. That’s all that matters in the end. We all have had ancestors that were crappy. That’s just life.
