  1. Mr, Ed says:

Sorry to be a grammar Nazi but that one hurt!

Where ARE Ford and GM Headed.
    Phew! Fixed.

  2. Glenn E. says:

Chrysler’s heading doesn’t seem to be in question here. And the only reason I can think of for this is they aren’t selling or planning to sell all electric cars. So is that decision the real reason to question Ford and GM’s direction. What’s with the negativity about electric drive technology, versus good olde and gas guzzling engine tech? It’s probably a good thing they todays cars weren’t burning whale oil for decades. Because we’d be seeing the same concern for any maker switching to that new alternative fuel, gasoline. Actually there were some electric cars, before the gas powered ones took over. And they were faster than anything made before then. Now it’s looking like electric will retake the dominate position, again. But a lucrative petroleum producing industry will mount resistance to this, to save its profits. At least until they manage to move their financial eggs into the battery basket. Chevron already owns the patents on NiMH technology. Keeping it pricey.

    1) Shouldn’t that be Where are Ford and GM headed?

    2) We’re just trying a get an idea because we’re share holders.

    3) They’re being coerced into producing green cars. You got a problem with than? Buy a Hummer. Oh there’s no more Hummer? Be glad that we aren’t forcing them to make Ladas

  4. Dallas says:

Ford and GM are both headed to prosperity. Next generation of automobiles will be powered by alternate energy sources, advanced creature comfort and communications. Great opportunity for US automakers to take lead.

Thank you Pres Obama for not handing this industry over to China as the GOP’ukes wanted.

100’s of thousands of employed autoworkers, today paying taxes instead of collecting unemployment owe you a debt of gratitude – as does the nation.

  5. Animby - just phoning it in says:

    # 4 Dallas said, absolutely nothing about Cheney. Dallas? Are you ill?
