Move the show to twit tv. It’s a great show, pull in rupley on remote. Your show is the best John. You are real about journalism (sometimes) and we all learn important info that teaches critical thinking, real democracies need people like you.
Your true fan,
Dave
If you don’t restart the show, everyone looses John.
Not a bad idea Dave. it’d certainly be better than a lot of the dross currently part of the TWiT stable at the moment (NSFW for example).
“If you don’t restart the show, everyone looses John.”
I also don’t want to lose John… but I will not be one of some oddball group that seems to want to loosen him up.
For those that don’t know, John is a pretty regular guest on This Week in Tech. See the most recent episode.
Hey, no badmouthing NSFW! If you don’t enjoy it, you’re just an old fuddy duddy!
What kind of plane is that? Certainly looks neato …
Didya talk about Greece?
The plane looks old USSR, and it appears to have a cyrillic, “El”, on the wing. You can’t do these shows on donations, you need sponsors for regular pay.
I do like the plane. I wonder what kind it was or what it was for.
I do think that cranky geeks needs to be moved to the TWiT network or somewhere where it is appreciated.
Tell me a story daddy, once upon a time, there was
“The elephant and the Rhino” and a date rape drug
I think Blockbuster was partially doomed by its shifty business practices. I stopped using them because they said I owed ~$40 for a video that went back on time. This was still in the the expansion phase of the business; later I heard many similar stories.
They didn’t pass the smell test. Same as AOLs vast, but unstaffed, account cancellation department.
That plane looks like riding in it would be more exciting than riding a roller coaster!
It’s a Tupolev ANT-20bis
For 1938 it’s pretty primitive
#13 I think that company has been going over 80 years now. Lot of cool aircraft.
Here is a plan drawing for the aircraft:

A web search shows pictures of a version with
twin 3-gun battleship turrets , one inverted.
Obviously a CGI fake, but very funny!
