Interesting I enjoyed watching the 70 minute film on Hollywood/StarWars yesterday but got bored too soon on this 10 min short.

I suppose I need more “dialogue” to lead me into it?

Does appear to get more interesting towards the end if you are enthralled by images.

Nice for a limited budget short film.

  3. ramuno says:

Okay…it’s a film (actually video) of their project. Did they actually change the sets, wardrobe, make-up and stage effects for each individual who arrived?

    terrific display of steam-punk!

If you care to watch all way through, it will prompt you to watch the engineer’s view, with all the effects being created around the capsule.

    Neat!

It’s a grown up version of Calvin’s Transmogrifier/duplicator/time machine card box.

There is nothing PUNK about steampunk.

  7. steve says:

    very enjoyable, clever and mysterious.

KMFIX said, “There is nothing PUNK about steampunk.”

There’s nothing punk about your statement either.

    Totally excellent!

As someone who has done “garage” video productions in the past, I know how much work it can be. This thing totally kicks butt! Kudos to these guys for pouring their hearts into this. My only criticism is the close-up shot of the door handle in the locked room during the Jack the Ripper sequence: Phillips head screws had not yet been invented at that time! But not an issue… totally excellent effort!

    Brilliant!
