Um, 10.6.4 has been out for at least a month, 10.6.5 has been seeded to developers. Also I would not pay for Twitter, but I know a lot of Twitter addicts who would.
I think only people/companies with over 5000 followers would pay for it. Everyone else is either passively using it or using it for fun but could probably live without it and use facebook or sms instead. Charge everyone and twitter usage drops precipitously.
One more thing. Why doesn’t this blog email you when someone responds to your comment ala youtube?
[Excellent idea! Send us $10,000 so we may start thinking about implementing it. Please make the check out to Uncle Dave. — UD]
My take on Intel’s fast laser stuff is that it replaces copper wiring on circuit boards inside the computer. They say it could be handy for stuff around the computer, too.
John stop saying that summer almost over, it’s not! Check your calendar!
First of all, summer just started LAST MONTH, so it’s only been technacially summer for one month. and seasons last three months.
So spring dosen’t start till the 3rd week of September (the 22nd actually), so we still have just less than two months left.
Unbelievable as it seems my little town of Fairfield, Iowa has 100 megabit fiber to the home.
An under 10,000 population community with a small university has internet speeds which almost no U.S. metropolis has.
10 Gbps at my home?
Wake me when it gets here, right after I take delivery of my flying car.
So what will the phone company charge me for this speed?
How can they know that climate change when will cause Mexicans to come to the US when they can’t even predict climate? I know they’ve tried shoving in numbers for past years predicting a known year and got horse apples. There errors are so huge that the predictions are pure crap.
I’ve read some of the predictions and so for they aren’t matching up with the real world at all. I confess that sooner or later they should start to get something right but I’m not holding my breath.
There is way to much information we don’t have to stick into the machines starting with what the sun is going to be doing.
For confused foreigners, “jailbreak” is a verb, the practise of unlocking a product so that it can be used, updated and creatively implemented by the purchaser and owner of the product. “Locking”, by a manufacturer to impede or force an owner to use one company, is popularly regarded as being illegal in respect of restraint of free trade, unfair in respect of consumer freedom of choice, degenerate in respect of harsh suppression of innovation. Jailbreak is an old English word with new meaning, specifically applied to the Apple iPhone, which is locked in the USA but un-locked in the rest of the world.
