PUTTING access to INTERNET/network to let anyone PLAY with a site/ability/capability is ASININE..
THINKING,
someone is THAT DUMB to leave an OPEN to do such is stupid.
SHOW me someone/group/idiot that lets you have ACCESS to critical systems, REMOTELY/INTERNET and I will show you ANOTHER IDIOT..
A direct LINE with a LIVE channel to detect problems and breakage..Is the ONLY way to go for a CRITICAL SYSTEM.
Setting up a LOCAL from remotes, requires TONS to bandwidth on RADAR. Better to send a radio/laser signal with DATA then Any other form. NO WIRES and if there is a BREAK its EASY to detect.
THE GUY IS AN IDIOT.
you need a guest..
So the show notes are worth their weight in gold? And who did the first 100 show notes? Hmmmm. Must be me and KD.
#1 and #2 WTF you ramble about???
And John D. what you mean Rand Paul is creepy??? The guy has faced a phenomenal GOP mafia attack from every corner for months and and you expect him to be Colonel Sanders???
I have never been disappointed before… but this statement from you was too superficial, too emotional and to … bimboesque!
i listened it, was nice.
THOR,
the comments from a SPY, in the show.
John and Adam have lost any credibility they may of had, although Adam lost his years ago. Their skewed point of view used to be fun to listen to, but now it’s obvious their not interested in the actual facts of the information they spew, their only concern is saying what ever they need to boost their revenue.
#8 – speaking of which, the diamond retailing industry has been racist for years. Just try to get anywhere in that closed shop, not being Jewish. It’s like trying to be a non-Amish C.O. in Pennsylvania. Or a bisexual on the Ellen D. Tv show. NOT ALLOWED!!
And the government often protects these “closed shops”, while forcing others to open up, with no consistent reason as to why. But obviously, govt has a reason. It’s just not one that serves the public’s interests. It’s greed.
No mention of the “Trains” topic, in discussion. If this refers to High Speed Rail, in the US. I say it’s way overdue. The airline industry has gotten far too long a ride, on the public dime. As the almost exclusive rapid transit carrier in the US. While other industrialized nations have more of a combination of air and rapid rail. And if the French can do it, the US certainly ought to be able to. But this country all but pulled the plug on rail travel. Soon as the major investors pulled out of railroad stock, and bought into air travel stock. That was regular speed rail service. High Speed rail was never given a serious chance, until only recently.
The aerospace fanboys want to keep space exploration alive, and go back to the Moon or on to Mars. But the US can’t have a network of high speed rail services? How is the Moon and Mars more doable, and beneficial, than that?
People got use to not traveling super-sonic, because the SST planes were too fragile and costly. They can also get use to not crossing the US continent in under six hours. In the late 1970s, I use to split my flights, and visit Denver for a day. A great town for sight seeing and Christmas shopping. And I’m sure there are lot of other nice mid western towns to visit. What’s the big hurry, America? How often do you get to travel, that you need to bypass all the great places in between coasts?
11,
The only MAJOR advances made in the USA were BACKED by the Gov.
Those NICE corps made it that way.
THEN disappeared with the money AFTER.
Because of a NICE law about the gov. owning a business. It can INVEST in building, but NOT OWN it.
Then you wonder about ALL the taxes we have to pay.
dave/NA/Curry..
why not do a comparison of VALUE compared to the DOLLAR of 1970, BEFORE the Fun started.
