  1. Dallas says:

While extinction of lizards may appear as laughable trivia to the narrow minds of Republican conservatives, I would hope the seriousness of 70,000 barrels of oil a day gushing into the gulf gives them reason to pause at their dig dig dig for oil at any cost.

The disaster is probably out of sight out of mind but hope the slimebags at Fox Snooze would feed their sheep a dose of this reality.

  2. TooManyPuppies says:

They’re plotting to take over the world. Haven’t you seen their TV show on ABC? Good thing David Icke is on it. 😉

  3. hhopper says:

I’ve had LED bulbs in my house for around three months. I got them at Sam’s Club.

  4. sargasso says:

Android 2.2 is not only better than the iPhone OS (and probably better than iPhone OS4), but HTC build better smart phones. The clincher will be when Apple finally surrender and release iTunes for Android.

  5. Dale says:

I like the tech5 show but most listeners would be tired of editing the player code off the end of the posted mp3 link after 3 times.

  6. Mulu says:

Oh shit, I was going to be interviewing with Limewire soon. Oh shit!

Has RIAA cost me a job?

  7. qb says:

sargasso, where are you running 2.2? I would be interested in hearing about your experiences with it.

  8. deowll says:

After doing some thinking I’ll trust them to count. The numbers of some lizards at some location are going down. This can be caused by all sorts of habit degradation including clearing land, over grazing, cats and dogs, kids with bb guns, recreational vehicles flattening them and the local plants, and housing developments.

The kicker is that some lizards love hot arid environments with only very modest plant cover and very limited water supplies.

When people start painting with a wide brush its time to question their conclusions.

  9. Jeff Little of Troy Ohio says:

    >The clincher will be when Apple finally surrender and release iTunes for Android.

Why would that be a Surrender? I would think apple would want itunes on every phone that was out there.

  10. GetReal says:

    “Lizards threatened by global warming.”

Lizards, and every other wild creature, are only able to live in the climate that they have evolved to survive in. They cannot just move to a warmer or colder place and survive.

I have a sense of humor but some things shouldn’t be made light of. There are too many fools who will believe the joke is real.

Or haven’t you noticed what’s been going on here in the good old USA.

  11. qb says:

That’s 20% of lizard species wiped out and 40% of overall population. They are basically starve to death since they have to seek cover earlier in the day and don’t have enough time to forage.
