‘Love Bug’ Scandal Rocks New York, GOP Candidate, Ex-Top Cop Suspected Of Plot To Bug Candidate’s Husband – The ShowBuzz — Read this whole tale. It’s just too weird. Involved in the story is that weird character Bush wanted to appoint.
CBS/AP) Jeanine Pirro, the GOP candidate for state Attorney General, and former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik are suspected of plotting to illegally bug Pirro’s husband, a real estate developer whom Pirro believed was cheating on her.
The scandal has rocked New York politics. The New York City tabloids are already having a field day with the story. “PIRRO LOVE BUG,” shouted the New York Post. “BUG THIS LOVE BOAT!” screamed the Daily News.
Pirro suspected her husband, Albert Pirro, of having an affair and contacted Kerik, now a private security consultant, in the middle of 2005 to discuss possibly placing a tape recorder on a boat owned by the couple.
What neither Pirro nor Kerik knew was that their conversations were being tape recorded by the Bronx district attorney’s office, which was conducting an unrelated investigation of Kerik. The tapes were turned over to federal authorities, who began their own investigation into the bugging scheme.
Pirro, seeking to become the state’s first female attorney general, said she was told of the investigation by FBI agents last week. She held a news conference Wednesday to proclaim her innocence.
More proof why women should not be in politics, and more proof that men should stay single all their lives.
One should point out explicitly that it’s Bernard Kerik who’s involved in this scandal, and he was Bush’s nominee for Secretary of Homeland Security (to succeed that incomparable genius, Tom Ridge). Bernie had to abruptly withdraw from consideration for DHS, ostensibly for a nanny problem but actually because he was implicated in an amazing web of corruption in the NYPD which, for some reason, the Bush boys didn’t discover until after he’d been nominated.
He would have been yet another appalling Bush appointee, but at least by the looks of this story he would have been on board for the domestic surveillance program.
Pirro and Katherine Harris are my two favorite Republicans. Not because of their politics, but because they both would make great Catwoman type villains in a Batman movie. There’s not much time left for that to happen before they out-pace medical science and cross over “hottie hill” and into Hagtown, especially for Pirro. Until then, there is still hope that somehow Katherine Harris and a black latex bodysuit find each other with paparozzi standing by.
And 0113, you need to find a new kinder gentler type of girlfriend fast. Your last one must have been a world class psych-ops third degree black belt. They aren’t all bad, just avoid the ones who check the “I like to use my boyfriend’s mind and nuts as a speed-bag” box on their e-harmony application.

Funny last I checked it was not a scandel to plant a bug on your own property which is what this story was she asked Benard to do it … he didn’t what is the scandel here?
