T.O. tried suicide, Dallas police report says — I guess you can only take so much pressure and receive so much attention before you snap. Hopefully he’ll snap out of this funk and get back to business. You can be certain he’ll get as much grief from the heartless fans and media as sympathy over this episode.
According to a Dallas police report obtained by WFAA-TV and posted on the station’s Web site, a friend of the football star called to report the suicide attempt just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. When asked by paramedics if he was attempting to harm himself, Owens said, “Yes,” the report said.
Owens’ publicists initially said Tuesday that the player had been hospitalized because of an allergic reaction to the drugs.
The unidentified friend told authorities that Owens, 32, “stated that he was depressed,” according to the police report. The friend then “noticed that (Owens’) prescription pain medication was empty” and saw him putting two more pills in his mouth, the report states.
What is up with “attempting” suicide?
I don’t get it… how hard can it be to kill yourself – IF YOU REALLY WANT TO!
T.O. is the type of person that wants to be the center of attention. I dont want to say that this was that sort of a attempt but it does make me wonder. I have seen people go though extremes to stay in peoples focus.
He is having a rough time due to the coach i bet. he can not do many of the thigns that he used to so he hasnt been around a lot.
this is one screwed up kid and he needs help. Will he get it? NO.
People like watching the train wreck and will not help if it means taking away what they are watching.
