CNN.com – Hungary: Rioters attack TV station – Sep 19, 2006 — Now here is a public that doesn’t put up with BS! Wow.

BUDAPEST, Hungary (CNN) — Protesters stormed the headquarters of Hungary’s state television network and set fires in and around the building early Tuesday after the country’s prime minister admitted lying about the economy “throughout the past one and a half or two years.”

Smoke and tear gas wreathed the headquarters of state broadcaster MTV, where police clashed with demonstrators around midnight Monday.

Things being what they are, hopefully I don’t lose any AWM cred for not hurling a brick at 28 East 28th because Vista’s gonna suck.

“We lied in the morning, we lied in the evening and also at night.”

Thus proving you can be every bit as corrupt as congress without getting off the couch.

    Two explanation
    1. Those people are not as easy to brainwash as USA citizen
    2. The Hungarian government need to learn from the USA government on how to better lie and use propaganda to control their population.

Maybe we will start seeing “terrorist” attack in that country, this way the government will regain control.

What a beautiful world we live in

Sarcasm off… Going to work now!!!

Isn’t a lie the most abhorrent thing in life? Of course one wouldn’t know until the truth is found out. Why not tell the truth from the beginning? I started reading yesterday about Plato’s Noble Lie from a government ethics textbook I found on the ground while walking along the brownstone neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights last night. Right now, I am not sure of the theory’s veracity, but my inclination is that it is bullshit. People have the right to know the truth. I believe people have an innate sense of what is right and wrong. Is the Noble Lie still relevant today as it may have been 2,500 years ago?
