Personally, I think the iPAD will be a successful product but it won’t have the high market share of the iPhone.
There will be some 30-40 tablets in the next 6 months – with Adobe Flash, with multi-tasking.
The 64K question is how important will the iTunes market place be for a tablet like device. Apple is betting ALOT. I’m not so sure.
#7 – @Eric.
Great points. Apple will do a phenomenal job, as usual, with marketing and ease of use. Your other point on content (magazines, etc) is key.
I’m on the fence on buying an iPAD (my Apple gear is the iPOD touch shuffle and AppleTV). It’s content content content!
Still, I’m guessing iPAD takes 40% share in the first year and not more. Service Providers are getting antsy and you also have the Android factor. Going to get interesting.
All hard drives on the Xbox 360 are all detachable. It’s “stand alone” in the sense you can buy it separately w/o buying a new console. The only way to get the 250gb HDD, currently, is with a new console bundle with Modern Warfare 2.
It’s not attached storage like a USB drive, which you can already do that, but you CAN’T put your save games, DLC, nor anything you download from XBox Live onto them (due to DRM and possible hacking/cheating)
