  1. Rabble Rouser says:

Palin uses a teleprompter as well. In other videos from the same talk, you could see her looking at one, and looking down at her notes.
You would think that if she had written notes, she could have written the things that she put on her hand, ON PAPER!
I call her a freakin’ retarded hypocrite!

  2. Gary, the dangerous infidel says:

If Sarah Palin is ever elected president, I know of only one way to overcome the resulting depression, and it could become the new national pastime. If you don’t already know how, click here!

  3. Chrisbap says:

You can see an example of Obama NOT using teleprompters at the recent GOP retreat.

  4. Brock says:

Yomama is a loose cannon who should have never been elected to POTUS. He flips on issues like a dying fish and clearly does not know how to run an elementary school crossing, much less the US. Yomama, Harry and Fancy Nancy would be hillarious, if it wasn’t screwing up peoples lives. We could call them the 3 stooges. Clearly all they are is entertainment for the personal benefit of George Soros.

And don’t go pulling the Bush caused it crap. Any thinking person knows you can’t legislate lending practices, like the Dems did starting with Carter, and expect it to go on forever. The BIGGEST FAILURE was Fannie Mae. Why hasn’t Franklin Raines been raked over the coals before congress regarding his falsifying the accounting records to get his huge ($90 Million) bonus. He was slapped on the hand and paid a pittance back. And when he did testify before congress, he was dealt with with kid gloves. Vomit.. Meanwhile he was Yomama’s Campaign Director till he quit because he didn’t want to embarrass Yomama.

    Palin actually ran alaska.

Now what has Yomama ever done for me except send the economy into a nosedive once he was in office. $780 billion was wasted on what? Paying off the unions and democrat contributors. What a waste….

  5. Dallas says:

#33 Your attempt to read grown up terms and put it into your own words was adorable! With a little more practice you might come across as a being at least an 8th grader!

  6. deowll says:

If she is a retard for needing a few notes on her hand(I think it was seven words?)what about a President that can’t give a speech without a teleprompter?

I think they are both smart to use notes and the elitist who denigrate Palin should be at least half as smart as she is. Um wait, maybe they are. ?8^)

  7. gooddebate says:

#29 So progressive works fine for you. You’d be ok with this, cut from the “Political perspective of the Progressives of America”:

“Economic Democracy . Economic democracy can empower wage and income earners through building cooperative and
public institutions that own and control local economic resources. Economic democracy means, in the most general
terms, the direct ownership and/or control of much of the economic resources of society by the great majority of wage
    and income earners.”

If you want to know what this would look like, see banking and auto industries.

  8. MikeN says:

At least Bush Derangement Syndrome had something behind it. It’s hilarious the amount of fear people have of this woman.

  9. MikeN says:

Like Lisa Simpson, what I want to know is how she wrote such a big speech legibly on her hand?

  10. scadragon says:

    “Talk to da hand”

  11. Olo Baggins of Bywater says:

deowll…if you can name a president since JFK who gave speeches without a teleprompter, I’ll send you a pack of unopened gum.

And FWIW, I betcha quite a few DU participants could wipe the floor with Palin in a current events and past events debate. Have you ever heard her discuss an event and how/why it happened? She’s all about some vague ideals, and nothing else. Nothing else!

MikeN, you’ve been told this before: it’s not fear of her, it’s pity and derision for the people who think she could be their leader. Wake up, she’s an empty head.

  12. The Monster's Lawyer says:

So far she’s my favorite Republican candidate.

  13. Dallas says:

Weird but I kinda want to see her take questions from members of the British Parliament.

  14. Howard Beale says:

    #42 Dallas

“Kinky” said in my best Harvey Korman as Hedley Lamarr voice

  15. Dallas says:

    #43 Kinky indeed. 🙂

A full fetish is her in a debate with William F Buckley on pretty much anything!

It would be like Gomer Pyle in a face off with George Patton.

  16. smartalix says:

Why do you right-wing idiots keep confusing derision for fear? Don’t you guys own dictionaries? I can easily guess most haven’t taken rhetoric classes, so some stupidity about the meaning of language can be assumed.

So, for the cheap seats Disgust is not fear. Derision is not fear. Mocking someone is not fearing them. Thinking someone is a dangerous
pedagog fearmongering disingenuous (a tad inappropriate because you truly should understand a situation you are being disingenuous about) empty suit is not fear.

Thinking that Palin would actually hold any kind of real power in the future does invoke fear, but more because I would fear any incompetent person in such a position.

Keep pushing Palin, I like to be reminded of wht the Right truly stands for.

  17. Dallas says:

#45 You’re missing an important point.

Conservatives WANT to believe it’s a discussion about fear of Palin. They know very well Palin is a buffoon.

The last thing they want to do is debate if she is a buffoon or not. It puts them in a defensive position because it’s a given that she is.

Therefore, the objective is to “move” the debate to fear of Palin. Get it?
