For their own reasons, the Bush administration has refused to release the full tape or even a transcript and as has been widely reported, took the unusual step of trying to block publication of the tape. What are they afraid of? Are they worried Americans might come to realize that bin Laden and many others don’t like us? Go figure.

Maybe, but I would be much more comfortable if he acted like an “extremist” – ranting – like Kruschev, hammering his shoe on the podium, shouting “We will CRUSH you!” (or theatrics to that effect) 🙂
It is spooky to have him calmly state how they are going to chip away at us, without the necessity of any more large-scale attacks.
The quiet, smart monsters are scarier to me than the loud, stupid ones. ðŸ™
Well sure the guy doesn’t like us…noted; but isn’t there a little more going on than a group of Islamo-‘terrorists’ just not liking us–I think so. Had the U.S. State Department & gang never imposed sanctions that refused the ‘terrorists’ and every non-ruling class person in the region (M.E.) basic staples of life–no American would ever of had to even consider the possibility of any ‘terrorist’-attack. Not that, statistically speaking, any American will ever see or hear a ‘terrorist’-attack. At any rate, if their target is our economic control and our leadership…by all means, go for it, I say. Mass exportation of jobs/immigration of people and ever-increasing taxes & interest rates and the fact that little resistence to such things is recognized only creates a real air of insecurity for Americans. Besides, whatever convoluted reasons our ‘leadership’ had for getting Americans involved in this terrible war, there is no good reason for 1,500+ Americans to have died–all for what they believed was a just cause–they are the real nobles of this country. As a REAL American Conservative Christian, I say that since our government has failed to deliver to us a REAL Democratic society (that is, EVERY person in both houses and the white house cabinet, represent 1% of the social standing of this country–not a DEMO (rule by) CRACY (the People)) and such unease concerning daily life in America, let the ‘terrorists’ have them…if such views were expressed and made known to the world, I would say most enemies of the state would make it a point to avoid any real American lives lost’ anyway. Let ’em have ’em…
