I don’t think anyone else said it, but this really “snowballed” out of control.

Re: #31, …or the cop didn’t have the balls to fight back…

  3. Porky The Pig says:

It is actually a felony to throw any object at a moving vehicle. Its a crime period…did the detective overreact a little but he was well within his authority

    God Bless us Everyone!

  5. The Tick says:

Holy fuck, I can’t believe anyone could think that pulling a gun on a group of unarmed civilians is calm and in control, it’s more like frightened and panicking. And to those who say respect cops, fuck that,,,,respect is earned and the way these guys rally around each other regardless of right or wrong means that they gave up their earned respect long ago. I still firmly believe that anyone who wants to be a cop shouldn’t be allowed to be one.

  7. spsffan says:

    Okey dokey,

First off, why do people have no respect for authority these day? Could the Drug War, zero tolerance policies just for starters.

Why do people these days have little respect for cops? Because there are so many bad ones. Rodney King, the BART shooting, the Mass. professor, personal experience. It all adds up. There ARE good cops out there, but they are overshadowed by power hungry thugs that use the uniform and the gun to get their sadistic jollies out of harassing the public. After a few decades, word gets around.

Third…it was a snowball for chrissake. Not like it was a rock.

  8. Personality says:

Correct course of action… Present badge. Approach dipshit kids. Tell them it is against law to throw stuff at cars. listen to the kids complain. explain that they will be arrested if they do it again. Listen to them disrespect you for bothering them. arrest the next kid who throws snowball at car or officer. Listen to elitist kids complain and disrespect you. Call officers to disperse shithead crowd. Listen to them complain and call you names. Wait til one threatens you, then arrest him as well. Listen to the problem causers say that you can’t arrest them for what they have done. Tell them you can cause that is the law, tell them to pick up a law book. Realize that nothing will disperse the crowd since they are all douches. Drive the 2 idiots to the station.

  9. The Tick says:

Lucky the moran wasn’t at this fight, he would have wet himself and called in an airstrike. HAHA http://twitpic.com/uadxt

  10. Buzz says:

In six different incidents last night, DC police tasered nine different snowmen.

  11. tinoj3 says:

Kids were wrong throwing snowballs at cars, but if the motorist wasn’t a cop, he would have been shot by the responding cops!!!!

  12. Mr. Fusion says:

The plain clothes officer was in the wrong to pull a gun. If was on official police business he should have called in backup and retreated to a safe location. To actually get out of his car and pull his gun endangered the public. He should be removed from the force.

The uniform cop was responding to a gun call. I would expect him to have his gun out. He holstered it as soon as the person with the gun identified himself.

  13. yea like kids respect for cops in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Yhe cop was a bully and the uniformed cop very cool!, : the cop said “thow another snowball”…, just asking for trouble!

  14. gennter says:

Who the hell buys a Hummer these days except stupid fucking senseless n*ggers who pull guns out at a snowball fight? The crowd should have set it on fire.

  15. TheCommodore says:

This SCREAMS for a Sean Connery impersonation – “Isn’t that like a dipshit DC cop …. bringin’ a gun to a snowball fight.”

  16. Zamir says:

Thanks for sourcing me and “Don’t Bring A gun To A Snowball Fight”

  17. webb3201 says:

If someone were to pull a gun on me in this situation, he would find himself full of my bullets (we have concealed licenses in TX). I would then call 911 and report that someone threatened my life with a gun and I defended myself. I wonder what would happen next?
