Last week I visited the RoboNexus show in Santa Clara. There were a lot of interesting devices, to say the least. But the first USA showing of the HRP-2 from Kawada Industries was a mind blower. I’ve seen the Honda Asimo robot do its thing and the HRP-2 is far more advanced. I have a large movie of it laying down on its back and then getting back up and walking off. Stunning. I may be able to get PC Magazine to host the little movie. When I do I’ll let you know.

Part of the show was dedicated to robot assisted power lifting. Amusing for sure.
