I never would have guessed you’re golfer.
I’m not a golfer, but it seems that by having a metal, hollow center, it would roll farther than a solid core ball since mass is relocated closer to the ‘edge’. Seems like cheating . . .
Some of us need all the help we can get, golf wise.
the idea looks very good but the spin is what makes a golf ball rise and fly straight so I am wondering what slowing the spin will do to its flight , very nice piece thanks
Goodness, how far will Tiger Woods tee shots go now if he uses one of these balls?
I specifically asked about the spin issue and the rise/fall and was told the patened dimples on this ball make up for ay slow down. Also it seems that if the ball is struck with an X-ratation/per sec the hollow center doesn;t necessarily slow the ball down.Maybe a physicsit can tell us the real deal here. As for my golf game I was decent in high school and good in college with two holes in one. But the strength of my game was middle irons (hence the holes in one — Coyote Hills Golf Course in Newark, CA, since turned into houses.) so I gave up on it. And that was in the days when you walked the courses. I also was a caddy at a couple of the clubs.
whats the cost….and would something like this be legal for professional play? The PGA is so tight about everything.
