Thanks! I can’t stand seeing Montana. Ever notice that most of the overly advertised females in popular media, have upper lips so thin that both their teeth and gums are exposed when they smile. Most people’s smiles are like that. I know I can’t expose my gums no matter how hard I try. So these girls are either the rare exception. Or they’ve had lip surgery, in order to increase their exposure.
When did this baring of teeth and gums become a must in popular culture? Especially if it’s so unnatural to achieve? Is that what glamor is all about these days? Having abnormal body traits, that only surgery (or dumb luck) can provide? So why sell looks that are unnatural?
Oops! Did it again, sorry. I meant…

Gum smiles like that can only be done by stretching your lips sideways until your upper lip jumps above your gums. A real smile is caused by your cheeks going up which doesn’t stretch your upper lip enough.
I can turn the red part of the lip under and you still don’t see gum. Their expressions also look totally fake.
We did a talent show at school today. Some of the older girls look at least as attractive and as far as I’m concerned they sound at least as good.
I suspect the big difference is the girls at school don’t have a multimillion dollar studio behind them. At about 13 or 14 they are about the right age to replace these two old ladies for the teen market.
Um one of the old ladies, Cyrus, may be 16 or some such but by the time you hit twenty you are over the hill for this market.
