I am sure this will convince men that fighting breast cancer is important.

I don’t think those guys in the sailor suits care about boobs too much.
R U kiddin’?
Everybody likes boobs. Everybody!
If some poster here dislikes them, please stand up…
YES YES YES
Excellent ad.
Here’s a stat for you guys. Pick 8 women you know – mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend, co-worker, you name it. Just pick 8 that you’re close to. One of them will die from breast cancer.
No brainer for me. I donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Breast cancer already gets more attention, money, and research than any other cancer. Prostate cancer is just as devastating to men as breast cancer is to women but it gets a fraction of the attention.
Damn I just donated my last dollar to Camcorders for Lesbians!
I keep seeing these PSAs on Tv, about Breast Cancer month. And their logo says “Support Your Local Breast”, on some shopping bags. But I’d like to see a T-Shirt with that on it.
Hell I’m a certified volunteer breast cancer examiner!
So what do I put on the “To” line for my personal check?
I might’ve used clips from the Woody Allen classic ‘everything you wanted to know about sex..but were afraid to ask’ you know the scene, the one with John Carradine as the mad sexologist.
#7, somehow i doubt that there will be an ad of similar content for prostate cancer, hell there certainly isnt a self exam for it…
#13…. I dunno. The prostate cancer one might involve those “sailors” featured in this ad.
#14 FTW
That’s the best commercial ever.

I am ambivalent about breasts. They don’t factor into women for me. I’ve had all sorts of sizes and they don’t impress me. Boobs are like elbows, meh.
Now good thighs, wide hips, bubble butt and smooth, soft hands. Now we are talking.

Self Prostate Exam
PS, buy some of those disposable examination gloves.

Mmmmmmhhmmm… Eelbows.
It will be an effective ad. Anything that gets people talking and writing checks, especially if it pisses off the uptight religious freaks.
My own fundraising experience for breast cancer research/treatment/screening has been sucessful only after offering to put the biggest donor’s name on the front of my shirt, right over my breasts. I’m doing a 60 mile walk for breast cancer in November and had a hell of a time getting donations until I started making this offer. I sent out nice, business-like letters soliciting donations, but had more success asking people if they’d like to “save the boobies”.
Sam is correct about prostate cancer being just as devastating yet receiving much less funding and attention. Like breast cancer, it is also has a high survival rate with early detection.
Men are also susceptible to breast cancer. Don’t forget to feel your own boobies, too, guys!
MediaCurves.com conducted a study on 318 viewers of the recent and controversial public service announcement on breast cancer awareness called “Save the Boobs.” Results found that while the majority of male viewers (60%) felt the ad was appropriate, most women viewers (62%) found the controversial PSA to be offensive and inappropriate. While there were mixed reactions when comparing responses by gender, most viewers, both male and female (84% of males and 79% of females) felt the PSA was an effective one. More in depth results can be seen at:

funny how every guy in the video looks gayer than than Richard Simmons. I’m gay, so I could care less about boobs.. but I know my 14-year-old nephew and his best friend would probably totally watch this video several times just because of the boobs.. hehe
