In my next life I want to come back as Marc Perkel’s squirrel.

  2. ECA says:

teaching a rodent to eat sweets..NOT GOOD
NOT teaching the rodent hwtas BEST to eat to keep its teeth SHARP and WORN DOWN..

You are making a PET, that you will need to take to the doctor.

  3. Marc Perkel says:

He’s peeing on his house at the end of the video.

  4. Brandon says:

Marc, I’m not trying to sound condescending here, but as my wildlife ranger grandfather told me, never forget that ALL wild animals are just that, wild.

  5. Olo Baggins of Bywater says:

Squirrels are evil. All of them. Just ask Dave Barry.

  6. noname says:

If you want this squirrel to live well as a wild squirrel you are going to have to let it forge for it’s self.

Read up on squirrel behavior and let it go at it own it’s own, imho

  7. Marc Perkel says:

He is in the wild. That’s my front yard. It’s less than 100 yards from his birth place. The way I see it, if not for me he’d be dead. So he’s ahead of the game no matter what happens.

  8. Larry Bud says:

Yessssss! Yessssssss!!! Fatten him up! Make him nice and juicy! So Delicious!

  12. Rick says:

if you are going to shoot the squirrel, please do it in high death

  13. Mustardtits the blind harp blower says:

Some people(usually me) can find something to bitch about no matter what.
Spoil the cute mother fucker who cares, with all the bullshit in the world it’s nice to see something that takes your mind off it all. In fact I think I’ll start watching this guys stuff in place of the “real news”.

  14. Jim says:

Bloody rodents. Wait until they get in your attic. A .22 is recommended. I caught 22 of the buggers last year.

  15. noname says:

    # 7 Marc Perkel,

All I am saying, your squirrel is young and may be able to learn basic forging skills. This may not be the case, when it matures.

I agree, you have physically saved it’s life, but isn’t the life of self sustaining squirrel preferable?

  16. Syrinx says:

…and Patrick Swayze is dead. RIP, Patrick!

  17. OPEN REQUEST FROM THE BLOG…

After Marc dies of rabies, are there any sysops out there who can take over the blog back end??

  18. Syrinx says:

    #18 Cranky Geek,

Har! Good one! And thanks for getting Tech5 up on the feed so late. Thought you took a day off! Good night!

  19. The Ox says:

    The cute! Is killing! Me!

  20. Thank you Ganesha. For putting obstacles in our way to show us we can overcome them..

P.s Your Squirrel is TOOO cute!!

  21. amodedoma says:

Do not be decieved. This squirrel is just one of thousands. Soon Marc Perkel will have a whole army of super squirrels. Sort of like the movie Willard but with squirrels instead of rats. In group they tear through people like vicious land pirahnas, leaving nothing but the bits that are hard to chew behind.

  22. Chris Mac says:

#18 sure.. i’ll even teach ya how to do it. so you can ignore it to death on purpose

  23. WmDE says:

#18 If rabies is a concern take him to a vet and have him vaccinated on a yearly basis. You may as well have him neutered as well.

It wouldn’t hurt to take the squirrel in as well.

  24. andy catus says:

In the UK that is what is called a tree rat. Vermin. My first thoughts were: “We are 3 seconds in to this video. Why is it still alive?”
