EE Times -Intel opens Indian software college

I guess this is to supplement the Intel colleges opened here in the USA, right?

  1. Ed Campbell says:

Boy, I really hate to offer this — because, in general, I revere Intel about as much as Microsoft. Which means — NOT!

Here in New Mexico, we’re usually in a race with Mississippi for the bottom of the barrel when it comes to poverty, spending no money on education, you pick the topic — we’re there. Because Intel has a decent-sized operation down in Rio Rancho, they must feel some pity on the peons whose politicians gave away the farm to get Intel inside the fence line. Intel frequently donates 7-figure amounts to education and education-related charities. Yeah, it’s hardware and software, materials and dollars; but, they all add up.

Maybe that’s more of a commentary on how close we are to India, here — than Intel’s big-hearted concern.
