An Orange County woman got so upset the sheriff’s office helicopter was flying around her house, she allegedly took matters into her own hands and was arrested.
Investigators said she shot a bottle rocket at the helicopter late Thursday night. Deputies said the chopper was looking for a stolen car in the area of 36th Street when the woman fired one bottle rocket.
She was about to fire another when deputies and canines found her and took her into custody.

Wow … talk about throwing a rock at submarine. Wonder what she was afraid of that she didn’t want cops flying around?
Perhaps you don’t live in heavily patrolled airspace…I totally understand the frustration.
Here in socal I have choppers overhead at all hours of the day and night.
Hover my house at 3am at full throtle, for a half hour, with a million candle floodlight running, and you too can watch me go out into my back yard, turn on my flood lights and flip the bird.
