1. Uh Huh says:

    Cool Video…shitty music

  2. madtruckman says:

i was waiting for the ‘night at the roxbury’ guys to pop out any time….

  3. Uncle Don says:

That is so neat; fun to watch the expressions on people when they don’t realize they’re still being filmed.

  4. ECA says:

    GREAT for outdoor weddings…
    the people would love it..
EXCEPT.. will it run on a DVD player?

  5. Yalie says:

Ick. Made me feel sick. I am very grateful I was not there, and never will be anywhere like it. But Bush and Cheney were there, I believe. Along with the Clintons.

  6. I don’t get it. It’s a short, poor-quality video of some crowds of people with monotonous background music. What’s “click and drag” about it, and how is it interesting in any way?

  7. lolol says:

once its playing click and drag the mouse around and you can look around in pretty much any/all directions

its a demo for some new fangled technology

  8. sargasso says:

I guess, it was made with a Pano360 on a gimbal mount?

    http://www.eyesee360.com/gopano/

  9. deowll says:

Very cool. The pole dancer was good. I expect to see more material like this in super high def.! Every rock concert should have some body make one of these and do a pay for download/view!

  10. Jägermeister says:

    Awesome! 🙂

  11. Jeroen says:

sounds like the record is stuck,
    someone kick the jukebox!

  12. ArchtMig says:

You stupid dolts, the point is not the music or the event, the point is the technology. I’ve never seen this before. It’s like doing a QuickTime VR – but with live running video! Even when the camera tracks, you can still move the point of view around. It’s like having Disneyland’s CircleVision 360 on your desktop! Not sure how they accomplish this, but it’s way cool!

[Good, someone who “gets it.” – ed.]

  13. Troublemaker says:

What’s so cool about watching a bunch of dumb stoned kids being idiots?

[Obviously someone who doesn’t “get it.” – ed.]

  14. rrrobb says:

actually I’ve seen this technique demonstrated in the days of Realvideo, including how to make it etc. I guess it never took off.

  15. SB says:

Hard to control, guess it would help if you were a gamer or into flight simulator.

  16. Don Quixote says:

#12 They are, we agree. I’ve seen it before from a fixed camera position, but this was a moving 360.. Awesome hardware.

  17. Brad Eleven says:

Tech is way cool, but too many dicks on the dance floor

  18. canuck says:

meh – nothing new about this technology – we’ve got real estate agents that use this for their online home listings. been around for at least 3 years.

  19. orangeapostle says:

um where is this video being filmed, does anyone know?

  20. orangeapostle says:

oh and btw if this is a techno festival, these “kids” arent stoned they’reall on X

  21. GoogleIt says:

    More info on the tech:

“Through a double glass-fiber connection, a stream of 1200 Mbit per second is captured and saved in an uncompressed format. Next to the camera, a surround sound microphone system enables to record audio at 96 khz as well.”

They are based in the Netherlands.

And that domain name is crazy.
