I don’t have an agenda showing this, I just think it’s a kick-ass video.

OMFG!!! This is the best ever!
The government has place “stop-loss” orders to retain soldiers even when their enlistment contract is over. They cannot leave the military!
Since the U.S. military is all-volunteer I think the best way to prevent future wars and take away the power of the president to wage war is to STOP men from enlisting! People should stand in front of recruitment centers with lures to keep them away from becoming puppets of sick presidents. Imagine Bush if he had no army to send. It would FORCE him to use diplomatic means.
I dunno…it depresses me….in so many ways.
Awesome!
This is fantastic. I love that they are just hitting each other. That must be what it is like in Iraq.
What are you talking about David? Every new active duty enlistee signs an eight year contract (usually four active, four reserve), and you are subject to recall at an time during that eight year obligation. Nothing new or surprising about this, and it exists that way for a reason; stop-loss was even used for select specialties during the Kosovo campaign.
And furthermore, if people followed your advice and just decided to not join, then we would be forced into resorting to conscription; because conflicts don’t go away just because you don’t have an army to fight them. And trust me, nobody wants that, least of all the military.
If this doesn’t kill rap nothing will!
Hey Greg white rapping is just different from black rapping not better or worse just different.
This is absolutly awesome!!!!!!
Ahhhhhh….modern warfare, how the times they is a’changin!!!
“…stop-loss was even used for select specialties during the Kosovo campaign.”
Its been around a lot longer than that.
My Father was mad that his 3-years in the Navy was almost up – and then the Korean War started – and Truman extended all enlistments by 9-months.
Interesting read on a recent stop-loss case:

why does it not suprise me that this case orgininated in San Fran-freaking-cisco.

Dan >>Hey Greg white rapping is just different from black rapping not better or worse just different.
I’m going out on a limb here but I’m guessing that your average white guy raps worse than your average black guy. I don’t even LIKE rap and I could tell the rapping in that video was pretty bad.
But so what? The video was not meant to get an MTV award.
Speaking of “fun,” did you notice the GPS unit? I do Geocaching in the ME and I’ll guess that Iraq is the most active country in the region.

For some reason, I find that encouraging.
White Rap has been around for ages, long before Marky-Mark wahlberg was an Inmate at the Deer Island Prison…….it used to be called “SQUARE DANCING”. Think about it. Then there was the truckin’ craze, no singin’ just rhymin’. It should all be called what it is “CRAP”. Word up!
This is obviously a fake.
It was filmed in california.
These are not marines, they are pansies.
