This pic is fake. Is the story below fake too? Or is it the scoop of the decade?

Rove Informs White House He Will Be Indicted — This site is taking a big risk with this one. If this turns out to be bogus its credibility is taoast since everyone is pointing at them as the source of this “news.”

What’s the rush to report this? Wishful thinking?

Rove Informs White House He Will Be Indicted

Friday 12 May 2006

Within the last week, Karl Rove told President Bush and Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten, as well as a few other high level administration officials, that he will be indicted in the CIA leak case and will immediately resign his White House job when the special counsel publicly announces the charges against him, according to sources.

Details of Rove’s discussions with the president and Bolten have spread through the corridors of the White House where low-level staffers and senior officials were trying to determine how the indictment would impact an administration that has been mired in a number of high-profile political scandals for nearly a year, said a half-dozen White House aides and two senior officials who work at the Republican National Committee.

  1. Shawn says:

Love the picture, fake or not. It’d be a great scoop for Leopold over the MSM if true.

  2. Mr. H. Fusion says:

    Blame Bush.

  3. Mr. H. Fusion says:

Damn, that is one ugly tie. Bush would really hire someone that wears a tie like that? Shoot, no wonder he is at 29% in the polls.

  4. ZeOverMind says:

Well you can tell it’s fake, unless Rove’s been on a double top secret crash diet. It’s hilarious that the left is so desperate to nail Rove that they are resorting to creating fantasy stories online. The nice thing about having one’s hopes continually raised and dashed is that it builds up inner strength and character 😀

  5. Rick says:

You gotta love those of “the right” who admire winning for the sake of the game…at all costs…and just because winning is better than losing…very sad.

  6. Awake says:

    Blame Bush? Certainly.
Think about it this way… both the Vice-President and the President’s principal advisor are directly involved in intentionally exposing an agent that the CIA has declared was an under-cover agent.
Unless there is a conspiracy at the highest levels, and this was done behind the President’ s back, the likelyhood that the President was not involved are slim to none.
This is like the current plot from the show ’24’, except in this case there doesn’t seem to be ANY good guys inside the White House.
If it was a conspiracy, the Prez should be furious and should be firing people left and right. But if it was not a conspiracy, and he was involved, then the actions of the president become much clearer…

President Bush … a new low point for America.

  7. Mike Novick says:

Byron York reported that Scooter LIbby’s lawyers have five witnesses testifying Joe Wilson told them his wife worked for the CIA. Let’s ask Wilson if he wants to see Joe Wilson frogmarched in handcuffs.

  8. Mike Novick says:

I can agree with that Paul. The question is how much intelligence was deliberately fudged, which is the core of Wilson’s argument. Unfortunately, WIlson himself knew nothing on the subject, and has been lying about it.

  9. AB CD says:

    >intentionally exposing an agent

Bob Novak says he got the name from the book ‘Who’s Who in America.’
