Pathetic, but expected. Apparently all the failed candidates websites have been poached as they expire and turned into porn sites.

Click on the old Web addresses for Montana supporters of Howard Dean, a Colorado congresswoman and a Kentucky Republican running for the House, and instead of candidates’ photos and links to campaign events, Web surfers will get an X-rated eyeful.

Scott Dowdle, past webmaster for the group Montanans for Dean, said he’s not surprised.

“I was aware that could happen,” said Dowdle, who is the webmaster at Rocky Mountain College in Billings. “It’s the American way for things to become porn sites.”
