    John,

Look up “Cryptomnesia.” It’s a type of memory bias in which one falsely recalls creating a thought or idea. Wikipedia has a nice overview.

It’s interesting to note how many writing genres get a ‘free pass’ in regard to plagiarism. Poetry or lyrics, for example, get a free pass. The realm of academia is, on the other hand (and as an example), a horrifically fraught area. Journalism seems to fall either one way or the other – either it’s a huge deal, or no deal at all.

  2. brm says:

    FABULOUS SHOW

This is more like the older shows, with fewer sound effects (almost none!) and longer stretches of on-track conversation.

    Awesome.

  3. Abam says:

    Missed you guys. Great show!

  4. yoshimura says:

    YEEEAAAH BABY!

  5. Lucas says:

It’s good to hear from Adam again after 2 weeks of radio-silence. 99 is a great show.

  6. JoaoPT says:

which begs the request: Guys, you can only talk so much, reduce the show to once or maybe every two weeks.
    Crackpotism can be overdriven…

  7. Nimby says:

More conspiracy, less real news, please.

Plus! I only remember hearing ONE “in the morning!” Keep up the good work.

  8. jimmyzkid says:

MORE SOUND EFFECTS!!!! MORE CONSPIRACY!!!! WTF!!!!!

  9. mriegger says:

Good show, and don’t reduce the number of episodes per week. Two is fine.

Adam really sounded worn out though.

  10. #6 listen half as much

  11. JoaoPT says:

    #7 I do!

  12. chris says:

That picture… you aren’t looking like yourself.

  13. JoaoPT says:

    #10 John:

I do listen half as much…one third as much in fact…

  14. B.Dog says:

    Jolly good show!

John, I hope you enjoy the fine new unlocked free Android phone that you get for going to that conference. The dipshit twenty-nothings were probably overwhelmed by all the less worthy geeks that tried to get in just for the phone. Their boss probably gave them strict guidlines so they didn’t have to think. They were just following orders and will doubtless make passable slaves for the New World Order.
