Sad to say that when I worked in the galley during my stint in the Navy we had a rule, we never ate the stuff we prepared and none of the other departments ate the stuff they prepared.

I got fired once because my boss just didn’t like me. I think it was because I was more educated than he was. (He was an ex-grease monkey while I was a degreed engineer, but thats neither here nor there.) He assigned me impossible tasks and ridiculous timelines just for me to fail.
I applied for unemployment immediately, and explained that I was fired without good cause. I got my benefits.
