I can play the other podcasts from this site by clicking the “save as” button and it loads in the quick time player but the tech5 AINT GOT ONE. help a poor brother out, dude

Eclipse is the most common development environment used for Java Enterprise web development. Do Google searches for “j2ee eclipse”.
Eclipse has add ons for database design, html coding (like Dreamweaver), XML coding, etc.
The iPhone and Windows Mobile synch thing with GMail/Calendar is pretty significant. Basically you set up a new account as an Exchange server and you get push. Take a look at the iPhone setup information to see what I mean.
Macintosh Snow Leopard will support Exchange as a core api in the OS.
What Apple and Google are saying is that Exchange push is a de facto standard and they will support it (along with IMAP/POP) and you should just forget the whole NOC based approach that RIM uses.
