The Hello San Francisco Website has a number of old books that they have converted to pdf and put online. The most interesting to me is The Picture Story of the San Francisco Earthquake. This book has some great photos worth revisiting.

I especially liked:
Page 14 – where the building on the left has “sunk” straight-down.
Page 22 – showing a building has collapsed, and “… the whole street being burned to the ground a few minutes later.”
