Is this the look for men in the future?

It’s official: Men really are the weaker sex

The male gender is in danger, with incalculable consequences for both humans and wildlife, startling scientific research from around the world reveals.

The research – to be detailed tomorrow in the most comprehensive report yet published – shows that a host of common chemicals is feminising males of every class of vertebrate animals, from fish to mammals, including people.

Backed by some of the world’s leading scientists, who say that it “waves a red flag” for humanity and shows that evolution itself is being disrupted, the report comes out at a particularly sensitive time for ministers. On Wednesday, Britain will lead opposition to proposed new European controls on pesticides, many of which have been found to have “gender-bending” effects.

It also follows hard on the heels of new American research which shows that baby boys born to women exposed to widespread chemicals in pregnancy are born with smaller penises and feminised genitals.

“This research shows that the basic male tool kit is under threat,” says Gwynne Lyons, a former government adviser on the health effects of chemicals, who wrote the report.

Wonder if this will affect the gay marriage debate.

  1. Science We Don't Need says:

Let’s hope that Obama begins “change” by ending these wastes of taxpayer rubles.

  2. brian t says:

What does this have to do with Obama or US taxpayers? It’s a report in a UK newspaper about a global study. Yet another reaction by nature to human overpopulation. If that causes a 90% drop in human population over the next few centuries, I don’t see the problem, but if we go, it appears that we’ll take much of the natural world’s diversity down with us.

  3. QB says:

“Wonder if this will affect the gay marriage debate.”

From what I understand gay men like, well, men.

  4. brett says:

Don’t forget the plastics in every-day usage of ours (Water/ Soda bottles, tupperware, etc.).

    They contain estrogen like chemicals.

In fact i noticed myself i became more and more of a pussy.

  5. Special Ed says:

I think this is total bullshit! Ok fellas, I’m off to douche.

  6. syrinx says:

    @Special Ed,

    LMFAO!!

  7. brett says:

    “LMFAO”

    Laughing My Female Ass Off?

  8. Marc Perkel says:

“Wonder if this will affect the gay marriage debate.”

I’m sure it will. Everything is about gay marriage these days.

  9. Dallas says:

According to page 16 section 10 of the gay agenda booklet, the rise of lesbians should offset any femininity in men. It will all cancel out at the end.

  10. qsabe says:

This is true, don’t knock it.

Since I’ve been using these products right up to age 80, I’ve noticed a loss of some sex drive. .. Don’t drink wine from plastic containers is my best advice for a healthy manly life style. Do shots right from the manly glass jug only. And make sure you wipe the bottle neck, you don’t know what those other gentlemen sitting around the fire barrel have had in their mouths.

  11. Pagon says:

Sadly, it’s old news. I read about this years ago.

It’s another case of: “Sewage Spill Kills Fish – Government Says Water Safe To Drink”

Anything business does is OK, according to our bought and paid for government.

  12. Mister Mustard says:

    >>I’m sure it will. Everything is about gay
    >>marriage these days.

You’re teetering on the brink of protesting too much, son.

  13. RBG says:

This must explain why there are men who

go to hairdressers instead of barbers
    use mousse
    apply fragrances
use depilatories & shave their bodies
    wear sarongs
    have pedicures
    wear make up ( http://tinyurl.com/68x4en )
    watch “The View”
    clip on pretty ear rings

  14. sargasso says:

Man made chemicals similar to synthetic estrogen are used in everything from soap, detergent, plastics, gasoline, paint, even in automobile tires. Called elastomers and emolients, they are an essential part of new materials. All you can do is reduce your exposure – buy preserved food in glass bottles, fresh is best and tinned is next best, avoid un-necessary exposure to domestic chemicals, etc.

  15. bstarr says:

I’m a grandmother and I’ve noticed that the men nowadays aren’t that manly. Shaving their chests and even shaving “down there” is common these days. The women of today will never get to know what chest hair feels like. Plus, I’ve seen instances of men and women sleeping in the same bed but there is no sex. A man in my day would pish posh that idea. In fact, you wouldn’t even put a real man in that predicament—it wouldn’t be fair to him. But things do change so that is ok too.

  16. Cursor_ says:

Men have been feminised in times past.

From persia to the modern day metrosexual.

    No big deal.

  17. Jopa says:

It’s a good way to fight Al-Qaeda. Feminize the bastards!
Drop tons of estrogen on their camps and caves. In 2 years you will have them weeping and bitching like women. They may demand that we “must have a talk” about our aggressive manly western conduct but at least the terror attacks will be over.

The danger here is that they might burst in feminine tears during negotiations and then we will give them what they want…. Damn!

    LOL
    😀

  18. Special Ed says:

I wonder if James Hill being a douche bag counts?

  19. Paddy-O says:

    # 13 RBG said, “This must explain why there are men who

go to hairdressers instead of barbers…”

I don’t know. I’ve never met a man who does those things.

  20. Angel H. Wong says:

“Is this the look for men in the future?”

it is but with a flat chest.

  21. TheCommodore says:

My doctor put me on testosterone treatment. Man does that feel good. Now I keep lusting after guys like the one in the caption above.

  22. Mister Mustard says:

    @22 – ‘dro

    STFU.

  23. Mr. Normal says:

Being a woman seems like too much work.

  24. Uncle Patso says:

This is why I try to avoid soy products, flavored coffee, carburetor cleaner, pesticides, those ultra-smelly magazines, superfund cleanup sites, etc., etc., etc. But it’s all but impossible to avoid exposure entirely. Try to go an hour without touching anything plastic — and that includes nylon, rayon, polyester, etc. in clothing, furniture, carpets, packaging — heck, I’m typing this on a plastic keyboard! My shirt is 50% polyester. I’m sure the upholstery in the chair I’m sitting on has no or almost no natural fibers. Ditto the rug.

This would be a heck of an embarrassing way to do ourselves in!

On a (sort of) related note: You may have heard about lots of parents not wanting their children vaccinated with vaccines containing mercury-based preservative Thimerosal. Know what that is? When I was a kid, they sold it under the brand name Merthiolate! That red stuff they put on cuts and scrapes that hurt so much! How much mercury were we exposed to by that?

More than one thousand five hundred new organic chemicals have been introduced each year for decades and decades. Occasionally, some of them are found to have bad effects and are eventually removed from the market. How many have been missed?

  25. soundwash says:

-this must make titillate the NOW gang to no end.. ;p

    -actuallly…if *they* would stop dumping
those hopped up birth control pills down the toilet,
maybe their would less tits to worry about..(perish the thought..)

(ofc filtering this stuff out of the water
supply would make waaay too much sense)

    -s

  26. MikeN says:

And I’m sure this has nothing to do with birth control products getting into nature.

  27. LibertyLover says:

Now I know why I am a male lesbian!

  28. Li says:

The tone of these comments is kind of ridiculous; I figured there would be more people with a bit of understanding around here.

Let me make this clear; there is a great deal of good research on this topic, and it appears that a large number of polutants are messing up the male gender, out in the environment. This could result in a lot of extinctions very rapidly, which would leave the environment largely unlivable. That is, if human males have a high enough sperm count to reproduce at all.

Extinction level fuck ups aren’t worth joking about, in my humble opinion.
