This was one of the funnier episodes in a while.
Since the youtube video will certainly get taken down soon here’s the episode on Hulu (at least for the people in the USA) http://www.hulu.com/watch/46689/the-simpsons-mypods-and-boomsticks
That was funny, the part with the fat guy throwing the hammer through the screen, wasn’t there a commercial about that posted somewhere or something or recently came out? Some person running down an isle, throwing a hammer into a big screen. I’m sure that’s what this was making fun of, just interesting.
I enjoyed that episode last night too. I could relate to Lisa’s “mypod” bill. The fanboys are going to have a fit.
…based on a true story…
“wasn’t there a commercial about that posted somewhere or something or recently came out? Some person running down an isle, throwing a hammer into a big screen.”
A joke or a serious question? It is hard to tell.

Search youtube for – 1984 Apple’s Macintosh Commercial – Not too recent 😉
Aaaaahahaha.
Can anyone guess what commercial was played right after this? You guessed it….Apple!!!!
I always wondered why every Apple product smells the same…
#8 – Chances are Apple was offered the ad time (at an increased rate) to capitalize on the exposure.
Apple had several commercials on the Simpsons last night. I’m guessing that they begged Steve Jobs to do an appearance on the show but he turned them down but that gave them a heads up that the show was coming.
Steve Jobs probably wanted creative control of his appearance being the control freak he is. The Simpsons don’t give ANYONE control of how they come off.
The Simpsons rule!
John the “Simpsons Fanboy”
The best part is that the writers of the show came up with a better product name than Apple.
MyPod is much better than iPod.
MyPhone is better than iPhone.
MyMac is better than iMac.
Somebody run to the trademark office.
And no mention of Woz. How cruel.
And the video is no longer available.
Probably the macbots complaining to youtube…

It’s American TV, the only way they can show a fat, hairy guy would be as a living joke.
I was going to add the French in the mix but they think Gerard DePardieu is sexy.
clips are gone from youtube
15,
The only fat French are from Quebec.

Google “french daddy bears” and you’ll see what I mean *snickers*
I’ll just have to steal the episode from Piratebay, since I’m not American enough to watch Hulu.
Why does globalisation only work in the direction of their wallets?
Here’s a version of the apple section on viddler http://www.viddler.com/explore/shivi2004/videos/3/ and dailymotion http://www.dailymotion.com/video/k6vKoRCaGetPmsRoL2
The whole episode is available on Hulu
hulu sucks for annyone outside the USA
