Little Chicken

A Times Square theater was supposed to show the children’s movie “Chicken Little” but instead adults and kids at the AMC Empire 25 theater on 42nd St. were shown a foreign film which starts with a young man committing suicide.

“The kids are crying. The mothers are screaming for the managers to stop the film,” said Joshua Gallo as he rushed out of the theater with his children aged 1 and 5. He said it was pandemonium when the boy in the film proceeded to hang himself.

Instead of crying and screaming, did the parents give any thought to maybe.. gee.. I don’t know.. just taking their kids out of the theatre.

It’s just a mistake. But this is also America, so expect lawsuits for pain and suffering. And the kids will need counseling, of course. That’s also America.

  1. Rob Barac says:

    Chicken Little hung himself?

Oh Bugger I misread…. Anyways it would’ve saved the public from another Disney movie, These things are like arsenic soaked candy apples.

  2. Luís Camacho says:

    LOL!
I always laugh at stuff like this, especially when it happens on USA X-D

But hell, if they had watch that Chicken Little movie they would be the ones hanging themselfs ^_^

  3. Kent Goldings says:

I’m suprised that it took blatently adult material to clue the parents to the fact this film was not the one they paid to see. Wasn’t there a lack of the ubiquitous and tasteless Disney trailers to clue them in?

  4. Richard Mahler says:

They just sat there and watched the opening of a foreign (non-English?) film until a young man hangs himself? That was the first clue? No little brat asked a parent loudly, “Where’s Chicken Little?” No adult wondered when the action was going to include the starring little fryer? No sky falling? We don’t live in a Fairy Tale world, in case these trusting folks haven’t noticed. Stuff happens, there are incompetent people everywhere: just look at our government.

  5. Ron says:

Well, here comes a lawsuit. Too bad I missed that showing. My friend works there and I go there to see movies often [for free].

As for the viewers: At least the little kids learned that its not easy being a kid.

  6. Witness says:

I was there with a 13 year old. The only hysterics were the parents. The children were calm as can be. It was the parents behavior that brought fear into the room. Using four letter words, which I asked that father if that was acceptable for children hear…….lets compare, and accidental film with a suicide….explainable….. a lifetime of a father that curses and has anger management issues……now who do you think should be sued…..
