McCain of 2000 would cringe if he saw the McCain of 2008. What was once an honorable man has been turned into a travesty, so desperate to win the white house that he’ll say whatever to whomever to get their votes.
Palin is the biggest fraud of them all, crying out ‘I’m one of you! I’m real! I’m a maverick!’ while she cavorts around in high end shopping establishments dropping $150k, buying $2k purses for her kids, spending upwards of $20k a week in clothes and makeup…talk about putting lipstick on a pig!

With a major economic meltdown looming, driven by a marketplace distorting government created program (Fannie, Freddie) President George Bush, who is for free markets, swallowed hard and pushed for a government bailout. The problem was created by the government and to prevent a Panic our President reacted against standard Republican economic ideology, due to the extremity of the situation and appears to have prevented the worst from happening
The fact that he and his appointees pushed forward a bold plan, which needed some tweaking later on, before the Congress could get over bickering about the issue was a save the day move by our President. The fact that he has stayed above the fray and has not pointed the finger at those who have stonewalled efforts to reform Fannie & Freddie lend further credit to our President. Thanks George!
