Is this what they call a virus?
If ads were more like this I might actually feel some urge to turn off FlashBlock more often. Till that time I’m happy to have all flash objects blocked to keep me sane.
Nintendo is one of the last true Gaming company. Others are just into business for some pocket cash. How much more proof you need when Nintendo was into gaming business since the 18th century, making play cards! Wow!
#3—Nintendo was founded in the 19th century (1889), not the 18th! Let’s not give them too much credit!
Hey, that looks like it might draw me away from my 360 for a few days! Awesome! Really cool ad too, wasn’t expecting that. Nice WTF? moment.
and I was just thinking about selling my Wii… Guess that idea is out of the picture!
@kanjay

Ok it was founded in 1889, that still makes them the oldest game company in the world. Give credit where credit is due!

Companies that want to make money must be evil or something right?
I have to agree though, Nintendo is truly dedicated to their fans. That’s why they shunned their old fans and chose to mostly cater to casual gamers, which has made them much more money.
Right on! Fight the power Nintendo!

I didn’t say they are evil, What i means is there is a difference between men and boys. Nintendo is the real leader when it comes to games while other like Sony and Xbox are just like kids. They are exploring and searching for the right formula, while Nintendo has already found it.
By the way your name Steve Jibs reminds me of something, Oh Yes, You’re an Apple Fan Boy! HAR!!

Because my name has anything to do with what I said. 🙂

When exactly did Nintendo ‘shun their fans’? Can you please state exactly when this happened? Otherwise, you’re just running your yap like a million other ignorant fools online.
Nintendo has not shunned anyone – they’ve embraced the casual gamer and those who wouldn’t even call themselves gamers with the unparalleled success called the Wii. They’ve continued the great game lines in the Mario and Zelda universes and invented several more (Wii Fit, anyone?)
There’s a reason the Wii, despite its supposedly ‘underwhelming’ hardware, continues to spank every other console available.

Good point, but I’m speaking from personal experience. Many of my friends have also had the same sentiments. The only Nintendo game I’ve bought in a long time was Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
When I look at a list of upcoming Nintendo games or third party games I see:
Mini-game collection
Mini-game collection
Brain Age rip off
Mini-game collection
Wii Sports rip off
Another Pokemon game with a different color
It’s not just Nintendo doing it, most third party developers are mostly making casual games for the Wii. It’s foolish for zorkor to think these companies aren’t in this for the money. They’re businesses, their goal is to make money. I’m not saying they feel satisfaction in bringing in new gamers, but money is definitely a part of it.
The new games I see for the Wii are just the same old crap. Not that the other platforms have more originality, those games just appeal to me more than the casual offering from the Wii.
Same goes for the DS. The only game I can see myself buying for it in awhile is the new Castlevania.
Brilliant!
Oh ya, I never mentioned that I thought the ad was pretty neat. Definitely something I haven’t seen before.
Are you trying to tell me that this looks fun?
No no, he’s trying to tell you the ad is pretty cool. That has to be one of the coolest ads I’ve seen in a long while for a game, very nicely done.
