AS THE BTK serial killer, Dennis Rader thrived on having the last word during a 17-year slaying spree that claimed 10 lives.
But as family members of the victims took their turn at the microphone to confront the killer during his sentencing hearing, Rader could do nothing but listen as they vented their anger
Famous (or infamous) convicts are seperated from the general poulation because there would be riots over who gets to kill them and make a name for themself. He won’t see anyone but guards for decades.

BTK, every time I see that acronymI think of burger king. And how many has burger king killed? Remember, they were the first to supersize with “the whopper”.

I find it silly that people yell at the sick perpetrator in the court room. Does that really provide any emotional relief? You know the guy is sitting there thinking, “I’m sorry….that I didn’t Bind, Torture and Kill you too”. In fact, sometimes I wonder why the killers don’t just say it as I doubt being a nice guy now is going to have any positive effect on the sentencing (maybe 150 years instead of 175 or maybe parole in 99 years) and I doubt few if any really feel bad about what they did. Do they expect/hope the families will send them cookies on the holidays?
I’m actually surprised that I haven’t seen one of these guys just stand up and say, “Talk to the hand that killed’em!”.
