Apparently scandalous goofball photo revealed on Palin’s website.

Today @ PC World The Sarah Palin Files: FBI and Secret Service Launch an Investigation — Did anyone actually think this was NOT going to happen? Let’s see how “Anonymous” these Anonymous folks really are. I’m certain that the Church of Scientology will be interested in the results of this investigation.

Initial reports of Palin’s Yahoo account hack were unverified until Rick Davis, campaign manager for John McCain, released a statement Wednesday calling the hack a “shocking invasion of the governor’s privacy and a violation of law.”

Today come reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Secret Service have launched an investigation into Palin’s hacked account. CNN is reporting FBI Spokesman Eric Gonzalez confirmed an investigation is underway.

According to the CNN report Gonzalez stated: “We are aware of the allegations and we are coordinating with Secret Service as far as the allegation that someone has hacked into Governor Palin’s personal e-mail account… We are going to be working a joint investigation with Secret Service on this.”

My thoughts: The Anonymous club didn’t really hack anything. They found the email address then guessed the password. They got in, grabbed a few screen shots, got nervous and left fast. Otherwise we’d have more than a couple of photos. Going public with this as if they accomplished something bold was the mistake. Instead of what happened they should have monitored the site for some signs of impropriety and then gone public if something substantial was found. Under those circumstances it would be harder to prosecute these guys. Now it’s become a challenge for the FBI and others to find these folks or lose credibility. So every resource will be thrown at this. Bye bye.

    “Anonymous” is just from 4chan.org.

I don’t get how the government thinks they are anything more than a bunch of nerds with something to prove.

The joke was funny but the deliverer is fcked up. I think if a real comedian told it in a routine it would work.

Maybe. It should fall in the same class of joke as “Niggas and wadamelan”, “wimin and their monthly friends”, Mexican BBQs (the beans fall through the grill), and the Spanish Soccer team and KY Jelly. It is only funny in the same way James Hill finds farts funny. Which is why Republicans make such poor comedians.

A political leader making a joke about the child of a political enemy has crossed the line. It is crass, crude, not very smart, and ignorant. Oopps, that describes most of the right wing nut commentators here.

Just a simple legal issue but this time the bears are hunting. These dolts better pray to every god they can think of they covered their butts and left no tracks.

My money is on they shot off their mouths and that will get them locked up.

  5. Mr. Fusion says:

That would make a great “Caption this picture” post.

I wonder why that little affair has never come up. They have everyone afraid to go near it. But I know someone is looking into it. It might be the October surprise because everyone in Wasilla Alaska knows about it and knows it’s true.

#69 – I can only guess that they shrugged it off by saying, “eatin’ ain’t cheatin'”
