Watch as the US News and World reporter keeps bringing up the war in Georgia, and this moron keeps dragging the conversation back to the gutter.

Priceless.

  1. Bob says:

Seems to me it’s obvious the segment was about Edwards and the guest was a Democrat political hack that was trying to move the conversation away from Edwards and the lack of morals in the Democratic party. Only a moron would miss that point.

  2. Jägermeister says:

Fox News – Keeping the American people ignorant since 1996.

It’s no wonder a big chunk of the American population bought into “The terrorists hate our way of living” and “Iraq supports Al-Qaeda and has WMD” bullshit. People are ignorant, because they’re spoofed irrelevant nonsense over and over again.

  3. Rick Cain says:

I can’t wait to see Saakashvili under arrest by Russia.
I’m sure fox news will spin that one in their own uniqu way, by claiming Russian President Medvedev cheated on his wife.

  4. bobbo says:

#2–Jag==close but tv can’t make intelligent people ignorant. No, I think a better summary would be along the lines of: “Faux spews, keeping the ignorant voting Republican.”

  5. Ousted says:

    [violation of posting guidelines]

  6. Gary, the dangerous infidel says:

It’s clear that this Fox News anchor doesn’t have any problems with attention deficit disorder, because he maintains his single issue focus against all the odds. Another reason he refuses to be dragged into that off-topic discussion about the Russian invasion is because this is the first he’s heard about it 😉

  7. usagi says:

The White House gave him the talking points and, by God, he’s sticking to them. He’s a good lap dog.

  8. McCullough says:

    #6. Come again?

  9. Fair Trade says:

Faux news… Kicking a Democrat is more important than a war.

  10. Jägermeister says:

#4 – bobbo – “Faux spews, keeping the ignorant voting Republican.”

Yeah, that’s probably a better slogan.

  11. As for FOX inciting this, story was in since 2007 and J.Edwards himself waited for distraction of the Olympic games to answer it, making a news.
As for comparison with Russian/Georgian situation, wait a minute. Region of the sovereign country leads separatist rebellion helped by the major superpower. Than the superpower comes in and beats the small country to hell in order to control the rebellious region… USA own script. No news can report on this without laughable spin. Question is why no Western media does not make this comparison. Ex. Russia/S.Ossetia/Georgia=Turkey/Turkish Cyprys/Cyprus=USA/Kosovo/Serbia=…

  12. lou says:

What else would you expect from Fox.

  13. jbellies says:

Nana Alexandria, once the 2nd best female chessplayer in the world, and still a beautiful woman at age 59, was spokeswoman for the Georgian delegation in Beijing, but she was unable to speak, holding back tears, in a short clip on RDI.

  14. GF says:

All the news networks are crap. They all aspire to be Entertainment Tonight with an ‘edge’.

By the way Fox news did carry some of the first reports about Georgia but then again maybe you’re to biased to admit that.

USA/Kosovo/Serbia, you mean you think Clinton was an asshole? Imagine that. Where were the anti war nutballs when that was going on? Where was Camp Cindy then? Where was the Clinton is war criminal crowd then?

The Russians are playing a very dangerous game. I hope for their sake this quiets down. Becuase it isn’t America they are affecting as much as it is Europe and Isreal. And assassins are pretty effective, just ask the Syrians.

  15. Balbas says:

Just proves that when the right-wing claims the media is “biased”, it’s just a code-phrase that means “I’m biased too, though I’ll lie through my teeth to the contrary”.

Fox isn’t interested in real news, just something to laugh at the Democrats.

  16. apeguero says:

What a lot of you seem to miss is that all these politicians are the same. One of my favorite lines describing a politician was in Hunt for Red October: “I’m a politician. When I’m not kissing babies, I’m stealing their lollypops”. Get over this whole Right/Left hatred and then, maybe then, we’ll have a nation of Americans again. The 535 Bozos in the whole of Congress and the two clowns in the White House, along with the numbnuts running for the White House are all having fun at how they can pull our strings. Show me a candidate that is not like them, believes in Capitalism and America 1st and I’ll vote for that candidate. Open your eyes, the only difference between Obama and McCain is that one is black and the other is white. That’s it.

  17. Ivor Biggun says:

#18, that person is Bob Barr, Libertarian candidate for president. The R and D candidates are essentially the same, minus a few minor nuances.

  18. qsabe says:

#19 You can’t justify the sicko on Fox, can you. Cheney’s puppet the bush baby is a laughing stock joke around the world, so the only thing you can think of to respond to logic is to claim they are the same. By saying the Democrats are the same as the group with their horns up your ass right now, is your way of saying they are really bad. Think about it.

  19. echeola says:

Three times he deflects the Georgia question!!

The American people what to know the differences between the two candidate’s response to the attack.

    Yah but the sex!

Both candidates supported letting Georgia into NATO, which would have meant the America would be at war, possibly a Nuclear war.

    Yah but baby’s daddy!

If they were in NATO would Russia have attacted?

Yah but if Edwards was the Nominee!

    What a douch bag.

  20. Mr. Fusion says:

The facts remain that this is a non news story that is being played solely for the titillation of sex. That and the host probably can’t pronounce Georgia let alone point to it on a map.

Today, Russian troops invaded a sovereign country and have killed many innocent civilians. Our President is on a vacation overseas and has no intention of returning home during this crises. That is a story.

  21. Brian says:

Typical fixed news pandering…so many stories about sex that they claim to be horrified over yet can’t stop talking about.

Why does anyone watch this crap?

  22. jim says:

#22 “Today, Russian troops invaded a sovereign country and have killed many innocent civilians. That is a story.”
Ya, and it’s an incorrect story being fed by the U.S. media. You might as well stick with Fox News

Georgia started this. There’re the ones that launch the offensive on thursday targeting the south Ossetia’s capital of Tskhinvali. It’s the Georgain that are deliberately targeting civilians. It claims to have dominion over South Ossetia and Abkhazia, but it has no claim to it. Both regions were joined with Georgia ONLY under the U.S.S.R, which is dead. The people of these regions have Russian passports, they consider themselves seperate and look to Russia to help them. The Georgians have been attacking them for a while now, the latest incident was Georgian snipers shooting innocent civilians. This is nationalism on Georgia’s part, pure and simple. That’s one of the reasons why Saakashvili got elected in 2004, he is aggressively trying to integrate the regions. It was his hope that Bush would back him and was a gamble that he has lost.

Russia gave Georgia enough warnings not to attack southern Ossetia.

  23. BigCarbonFoot says:

Non-news story?!? Mr 2 America’s was still up for consideration as O’Vomit’s running mate. I’d call this news. Welcome news at that.

  24. Greg Allen says:

John Edwards cheated on his first wife.
John McCain cheated on his first wife.
    Barak Obama didn’t.

Clearly, that makes Obama the most qualified man in America to be president.

  25. Lou Minatti says:

Edwards is a Grade A asshole who cheated on his dying wife and fathered a baby with a new age psycho. The more important issue is Edwards is a conman who destroyed doctors and hospitals with junk science and became obscenely rich in the process.

McCullough, why don’t you post Edwards’ My Pretty Pony video?

  26. Mister Ketchup says:

He’s religious. Another candidate for the Jehovah’s Witness Protection Program.

  27. Mr. Fusion says:

    #23, Brian

Why does anyone watch this crap?

So they can fantasize of doing the same thing while their right hands are busy.

    #24, jim,

Suuure Jim. Georgia invaded their own territory. Ya right. A Russian minority hasn’t been trying to claim power and beg protection from big mother Russia. Nooo.

Geeze, how do you people live with yourselves?

    #25, BigTroll

Mr 2 America’s was still up for consideration as O’Vomit’s running mate.

He was? Maybe in Fox Spews mind, but did you ask Obama? Of wait, of course you not only didn’t ask him, you were too busy casting aspirations about him because someone he ran against in the primaries had an affair.

    #27, Lou,

The more important issue is Edwards is a conman who destroyed doctors and hospitals with junk science and became obscenely rich in the process.

Aren’t you the least concerned that McCain also fathered a black baby with a Vietnamese woman out of wedlock while hauling cocaine in Navy jets, when he wasn’t crashing or losing them (5 at last count)?

Edwards sued on behalf of people injured by physicians making stupid errors. No junk science. No destroyed physicians that weren’t so incompetent they shouldn’t be practicing medicine. Just ordinary people whose lives were ruined by uncaring stupidity, indifference, and / or carelessness. Its called Justice.

    #28, Ketchup,

    He’s religious.

Especially on Sundays and when journalists ask.

  28. jim says:

    #30
Bull. South Ossetia is not a region in Georgia, regardless of what that thing Saakashvili and his friends claim. Prior to the U.S.S.R it was an INDEPENDENT Oblast, now the U.S.S.R is dead there is no reason for it not to be returned to that. Georgia is again autonomous, as is Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraina and many others. Hell, the UN recognises Kosovo as independent, when Serbia has actually got far more historical claim to it than Georgia has to the regions in question.

The Georgians started this war, killing Russian passport holders in the area and Russian peacekeepers (sanctioned by the UN!), and completely ignoring the wishes of the Ossetes for the independence they are historically entitled to.

It is the Russians who are rescuing the Ossetes from the area, the Russians who are taking them to North Ossetia, the Russians who are providing 120 tonnes of aid, and medical care. Not the Georgians. The Georgians are commiting a MASSACRE against the Ossetes – they created a humanitarian crisis in the region by cutting off water and electricity. The people who remain in the area, mainly the elderly and children cannot access help, and the Georgians are shooting at, and bombing, them. They’ve already tried to halt the flow of refugees into North Ossetia, and have bombed buses full of refugees. They’re trying to integrate the area by wiping out the Ossetes, that’s not just a war – that’s ethnic cleansing.

But yes, poor sweet Georgia, with their U.S funded and trained troops (not that this was planned at all!), being picked on by big bad Russia(!)

  29. grog says:

    anyone up for red herring?

  30. grog says:

when g.w. asked georgia to help us they sent in troops, when georgia needed us, g.w. did NOTHING

    g.w., what a great friend

now then, back to the sex…
