MINNEAPOLIS — It takes more than hairy arms and a good Mrs. Doubtfire impersonation to be Robin Williams.

The 52-year-old comedian-actor claims a look-alike named Michael Clayton duped a reporter and a charity organizer into thinking he really was Williams.

That said, look at this guy! He looks like DeNiro trying to look like Williams. With a nose job maybe he could pull this off. But please!

Here is the Clayton website where you can see part of his act.

Watched a bit of the video. He’s really awful. No one would mistake him for Robin Williams!!!

  2. meetsy says:

….Gyro…evidently SOMEONE mistook him for it, or there wouldn’t be all this fuss. I can hear the audience now…”he looks so different, in person” .
Maybe if Robin would do some new material…..

  3. Pat says:

“The lawsuit asks for an unspecified amount of money and that Clayton impersonate Williams only if he tells people that he isn’t the actor”.

Seems reasonable. The guy was not only impersonating Williams, he pretended to be him. That sounds like it might be a criminal act, especially if he got money for it

  4. WE all have a doppleganger. Some of us more than one. I have a closer resemblance to R.W. than the michael featured in the article. My life has been interesting and like my soul brother I also experience the polarity of mood. Look forward to hearing from you. Have photo than can be e-mail to substantiate claim.

would like to say Robin Williams is the man… he recently made a comment about a certain french canadian singer… saying anything that might be contrued as a diss about the french is a taboo in Canada
