Twins with different skin colours – one black and the other white – have been born in Berlin. Doctors say it is an extremely rare occurrence, but it is possible if genes combine in a certain way.

The twin boys, named Ryan and Leo, are the offspring of a mixed-race couple.

The doctor said she had been present at some 10,000 births over almost 20 years and had never seen anything quite like this, it has been reported.

Not unusual some mullatoes have lighter skin. Some are dark mullatoes. Not even counting quadroons or octoroons!

  2. GF says:

Libra, a contestant on Big Brother 10, has 4 month old twins one black and one white with blue eyes.

There was also a white Buffalo born somewhere. It’s a sign of the apocalypse. 😉

#1 lets not forget the maroons…

  5. Jägermeister says:

    Cute little guys! 🙂

  6. smartalix says:

this is only unusual in predominantly white families. My sister also have a pair of twins like that, big deal. As long as we are hung up on skin color we’ll never get anywhere.

  7. Angel H. Wong says:

Well, contrary to how they look, Germans are kinky.

  8. Shouldn’t this be the same percentage of twins as brother and sister of different colors given similar genetics?

    Is this a big deal?

  9. lakelady says:

anyone know if these are fraternal or identical twins? the article doesn’t state which they are and it makes a huge difference in how unusual this really is.

[The twins were fraternal. I don’t see why this is such a big deal. Here’s another photo. – ed.]

    #7 – Angel H. Wong – Germans are kinky.

Let’s see here… in WW2, the Axis of evil was – mainly – Germany, Japan and Italy…

    German men love kinky porn.
    Japanese men love kinky porn.
Italian men live at home with their parents.

Think about that for a minute…

  12. GregAllen says:

I seem to remember a German woman giving birth to twins about ten years ago: one was white and the other black but by two different dads. (American GIs if I remember correctly.)

#6 smartalix: “As long as we are hung up on skin color we’ll never get anywhere.”

If we could think of black and white skin colors like chocolate and vanilla, then it would be easy to like both flavors… 🙂

Those twins will never be able to pretend to be each other and get away with it!

  14. Rich says:

I don’tknow if the media types are retards or too PC, but one little guy is a darker black, and the other is a lighter-skin-black color. Cmon’, Shelley!
