This is the code named “Montevina”, 45nm, low power chip-set, renamed the Intel Centrino 2. I am most interested in their “Atom” family of low power products, simply because they are as core-scaleable as the Centrino 2, and they consume only 0.2W of battery power in wait mode.

About the Microsoft-Yahoo deal. The link from the post does take a bit to get through but it’s a good read. I’d be curious to see how it can be made more accessible without being markedly dumbed down.

The story about the IT guy who has blocked access to the city’s computer system isn’t quite what you’ve reported.

He isn’t stopping the police from getting access. He’s blocking everyone!!

The story seems to be that he is one of the city’s main network administrators. And he went a little nuts, and has put passwords and blocked access all over the place, and refuses to give anyone the passwords.

Boo hoo, GTA for the DS is going to make toddlers shoot their peers at the kindergarten.

Blah, have you see the Japanese DS porno games?

Granted, they’re not as nasty as Benki Kousoko (google it!) but white panty camera angle is a must there.
